I was sceptical about getting this bed because my 3 year old Rottweiler has a tendency to chew new beds and munch on the innards. From day one, she got on this bed and has loved it! She shares it with our chocolate lab and they both take turns on it. I laid down on it myself and I was surprised how comfortable it was. With labs and rotts being prone to hip and joint problems, I wanted to make sure they were off the floor totally and comfortable on their bed. We do let them on the couch but for some reason they sometimes like laying on the floor. My lab loves the edges and she rests her head on them. Overall, the quality is amazing and our dogs love it! I’d definitely buy another in the future and I highly recommend.
My shy, timid, runt of the litter labbie is now 13 years old. She has always been scared of anything new. This bed is beautiful. She won’t go near or on it. We threw a familiar blanket on it. No luck. We laid on it to show her how cool it is. Oh Sierra. We still love you!
I can’t really speak for the dog, but she went right to it and seems to love it. As “her person”, I found it easy to assemble and I love the washable cover. Very nice design and seems to please this dog who is beginning to seem older and needs a comfortable bed..
I thought he really liked it at first; he jumped in it as soon as I placed it in his old bed location, but the novelty of it wore off I guess. Now he sleeps on the floor on the other side of the room. I'm heartbroken and out all that money, and my dog has no place to sleep!
We adopted a 10 yr old dog with osteoarthritis and wanted to get her a great bed! The previous (comparable cost) bed we purchased she never took a liking to, so we ordered the Casper. She likes it so much more, and it seems to offer her great support.
