he didn’t like the bed at all. not sure why. but he began to sleep in the floor in his playpen instead of on this bed in his kennel. i think it’s wonderful that you can take it apart and wash it. going to give it a couple more weeks.

My dog is 15 pounds, the small bed is the perfect size and the sides are the perfect height to keep him inside but low enough for his head to rest. the foam inside seems nice and durable. only complaint is that the fabric feels a bit stiff, especially for the top of the bed. i end up putting an old sweatshirt on top of the bed for him to have something a little softer and cozier. would also really really really love if guys carried cushioned, waterproof, washable mattress pads designed for these beds. so rather than having to dismantle the bed to clean, you could just pop off a simple, fitted mattress cover -- and waterproof in case of any accidents! it would also solve the problem of covering up the stiff fabric with something more cushioned.

Our worst fears came true

We were concerned about purchasing our second Casper dog mattress (one to have downstairs as well as upstairs) because we were afraid our little beefcake would just sleep all day. Well, that’s what has happened. If you want to always know where your dog is, and enjoy sleeping peacefully yourself—without waking up to wet kisses because your pup remains snoring and sprawled out in his bed late into morning—this purchase is for you. Four paws up!

My pup loves this bed

My pup feels very secure and loves this bed/couch/workbench (where she works over her toys). She comes in from outside and immediately jumps in it. Because she likes it so well, but can no longer lay flat out in the bed so not so good for night, we recently purchased a second one in the medium size for night. I like the bed because it is so well designed and made. She likes the bed because it is so comfy. Have washed the cover twice and it comes out of the washer/dryer beautifully.
