I’ve never seen our dog pass up a chance to do ol’ Sad Eyes for some human food treats when we’re in the kitchen, but this bed is better than food in the morning for our pooch.
My dog is a beagle-lab mix, about 35 pounds, and likes to stretch out when he sleeps. The medium is perfect for him and fits perfectly in his large size crate. I have it outside his crate when I'm home. We haven't had it for long so I hope I'm not jumping the gun here, but I'm glad I splurged on this bed. I wanted to get him something really nice and this bed is twice the height of the one he had before, stylish and comfortable (I laid on it for a minute and it was supportive for me!) It was very easy to put together. It makes me happy knowing he has something supportive to sleep on: he's a rescue and previously suffered a broken hip. I don't know if it still gets sore, but I want to give him the best! And I just love that you included a dog toy! Eddie isn't even that big into toys, but when he got a hold of that thing, he started playing with it right away. It makes me really happy.
Bella is exactly 50 lbs, so I figured the medium dog bed would be perfect for her. I was surprised to see that it's about ⅓ of the size of her old bed. At first she didn't want to go on her new bed - not sure if it was because of the "new smell" of the fabrics and/or because it's a little noisier then her old bed. I put the new bed in her usual spot and she did finally go to bed, but she seemed to be trying to find a comfortable position. Also, I am considering trying to exchange it for the large dog bed so she can spread out. It seems like she's been sleeping curled up more since the bed is a little small for her. Bottom line, the bed looks great and she is sleeping on it.
Despite his weight, the medium is perfect for my boxer who loves to curl up in a ball. He loves this bed and I think it feels good on his old man joints because he’s sleeping better than he has in ages. Even on the nights I let him jump up in bed with me, he ends up down in his Casper at some point. Can’t recommend it enough!
I finally found a bed my dog will sleep on for the whole night. I got the large the bed and it is plenty of room for a 75lb long legged Lab/Husky mix. He sleeps on his side all spread out and also curled in a ball and there is still plenty of room for him to move around. I would almost say the medium sized bed could have worked but we have plenty of space to grow in to.
