So I got the Casper pet bed for my old dog Bear. He has been sleeping on a pile of dog beds (thinner) and woobies (dog blankies) and I noticed that the younger dogs are taking over. Bear is very set in his ways and it took him over a year to try out a Simmons posturpedic bed that I had gotten YEARS ago - this bed is in the family room. There is another senior bed with a P.E.M.F. mattress on top if it in the family room and Bear hasn't used that one yet. I had also put another pile of thinner beds and woobies down for Bear so he had another place to go but he won't use that pile either. I started thinking it was a location thing so I put the new Casper bed where his old pile of bedding was. Nope, he wouldn't use it and instead, used the hard floor. :-( So I moved his old bedding back, and put the Casper bed next to it. I really thought the bolster would help keep him comfy but nope, he want his old pile of blankets and beds. However, the other dogs race into the bedroom at night to get on the Casper bed first. Looks like there will be more Casper pet beds in my future - the other dogs absolutely love them.

It took me a while to convince myself a small dog mattress was worth this much money but it was a good decision. She is older and doesn’t like change but immediately took to it and seems to be comforted by it. The bed is nice looking and good quality and she has plenty of room to adjust. Much higher end than what I usually buy at the pet store. Now we are thinking about a larger one for our lab.

Our nearly 8 year old English Bulldog has slept in the same spot on the same chair in our living room every night for nearly 5 years. Since getting this for him to lay on in our office during the day, I’ve been waking up in the morning to find him in the office, on this bed, fast asleep, and still snoring! He LOVES this bed. All day, every day. Purchased this with skepticism based on the price- but it’s proven to be worth every penny! Two paws up, Casper!

Scout started sleeping on it right away. In the past with other dog beds, she'd sneak into my bed in the middle of the night when I was sleeping. Now she stays put in her bed through the night. (I think she appreciates not getting kicked in the middle of the night by her human)
The bed is easy to take apart and wash. The only thing that would make this better is if it was water proof. Scout has spay incontinence and it's challenging to wash the memory foam. I'm planning on buying a pillow case encasement to put the foam in then put it inside the dog bed.
Otherwise, the material is very durable and the medium is large enough for her to stretch out in.
By the way Scout is a 1 year old, 37 lb Red Heeler Mutt Mystery. She's pretty lanky and likes to stretch out to the max, but the Medium suits her well.

Let me start this review by saying that I never do reviews. However, Casper is worth it. We purchased the size medium bed for our 14lb Dachshund. She likes a larger bed to spread out and also snuggle with toys. From our observation, she loves the consistency and support of this bed. She chooses to lay in the bed far more frequently than before (when she had a different, lower quality bed). We have also observed her laying in a variety of positions, unlike previously when she could only curl up. The bed is high quality and very well-made. We are so pleased with this purchase and we should probably purchase a Casper mattress for ourselves as well!

Daisy is a 13 year old Lab. She has had a lot of health problems this last year. She has been sleeping on the same bed that she got as a puppy. I have been looking for a new bed and I came a cross Casper. I know it’s a big investment and I had to save up for 6 months but it is well worth it. Daisy’s LOVES her bed. She can get up and down good and she has lots of room. I like that her head doesn’t fall off the bed anymore. I couldn’t be more happier with this bed. If I knew how to post a picture I would. I know you may think it’s a lot of money but your dog will love you for it and so worth it. Thank you Casper. Daisy

My dog is a 16lb bichon and when he stretches out he easily goes end to end of the bed. Wish I would have ordered the bigger size, The 'up to' weight feels a little deceiving as the main gauge for what size to purchase. I'll do more measuring next time.

She doesn't seem to like it much..
She'll often get up after sitting on the Casper for maybe 20 minutes then move into the bedroom and sleep on her old bed, alone.
It's not big enough for her either, she's not a very big pit at all by comparison but she spills over the side with her head inevitably laying on the floor.
In the picture it seems bigger and puffier than it really is. I think the lack of sides is a contributing factor to why she doesn't like it much.
Will probably return it.. :/
