My dog doesn't seem to enjoy or prefer this bed over anything else honestly. I often find him on the floor instead of in the bed and he still tries to sleep on my bed as well. I think it's a decent dog bed, but for the pricetag I have to say I expected more.

My impression is that it seems to be a very good bed for Jenny because she is about 8 years old and needs to be very well supported.

Jennifer did not initially like the bolsters and she did not fit within the bolsters so she had a hard time getting the hang of them. I left her orthopedic bed next to the new one and she now puts her head on the bolster for a pillow and seems to like her new bed. Thank you.

Ok. This bed is so well made and comfy I would sleep on it. But my dog isn't loving it. He seems to want something more lumpy (of course he hasn't really said this). He gets on the bed and wants to paw around - a LOT - as if to reposition the cushions. Adding a very large towel gave him something to move around. But now he just avoids the bed.
I am totally open to suggestions here. I added a room service bell and some satellite tv but he isnt going for any of it. I really, really want him to like this bed!!
I am not sure my 7 month old dog's experience will help you. Maybe I just rescued a guy who never had a bed???

I have a 55lbs pit bull and a 55lb Weimaraner. I initially purchased a medium and a large, because my Weim will get bigger, but none of them wanted to sleep in the medium bed, so I returned and purchased a second large. Now, each dog takes one of the large beds when it’s hot, and they sleep together in one when it’s cold. My pit bull has been sleeping in the bed with me for 8 years, and I didn’t think I was going to make him sleep in his own bed, but he loves it!

bought the large for my black lab and so far so good. She loves to sleep with her head hanging just slightly over the edge. Good quality, very supportive for older dogs with hip issues. It’s easy for her to get in and out of which is great since she can’t really jump on the couch anymore. A little pricey but well worth it if you want your pupper to be comfy.
