Our normally a side sleeper who jumps out of bed at any sound of a wrapper is now a stretched belly sleeping bed potato. She looooved her new Casper bed immediately. Guess we are going to have to get another one for the front room and the rest of the furries!

We love the look of the bed and the fabric stays looking nice even when when our pup may be a little dirty from an adventure. We don't like having to buy new beds every 6 months because of wear and tear, so we're really pleased that this mattress is durable. We bought one with the plan to observe how our dogs like it, compare it to there old beds and figure out size. The medium fits for our Aussie Shepard mix, but if I get a second, it will be a large for our golden retriever. Both of our dogs like to be able to curl up into small places or rest there head on a pillow so I was hoping that the side buffers were more significant or taller. The foam of the buffers are not as durable as the matress in the middle, as one has already flattened down now even with the mattress. The matress part is thick and holds it shape just like a foam mattress for humans. This is great for our 12 year old's sore hips. This bed would be perfect if Casper raised the buffers or made it couch-like.

Our dog is 41 lbs so we purchased the medium bed as it was listed for dogs up to 60 lbs. I think that weight by itself is not the best way to determine bed size though. Our dog is only 41 lbs but he is tall and lanky. Because of this, he does not fit the bed very well and has ignored it in favor of our bed and/or his old larger bed that does not have much support. Our cats seem to like the medium size Casper bed though.

A tail-wagging dream come true!

Fitz is a lover of anything soft and snuggly - pillows, blankets, the occasional human. His Casper dog bed is now the go-to spot at the office. The raised sides are the perfect spot to rest his head. He’s always a sound snoozer but the number of tail-wagging, squirrel chasing dreams have definitely increased since the delivery! Best of all, the occasional drool or mid afternoon chew stick slobber are easily removed by tossing the Casper cover straight in the wash. Fitz gives this bed 4 paws up!

Its like he knew it was for him when we pulled it out the box.
He won't snuggle with me on the couch anymore unless I place the bed on the couch too!
