We have a "small" Leonberger dog. She is only about 95 pounds. Wasn't sure if the Large bed would be big enough but decided to give it a try based on the reviews. I looked at a few other brands prior but they were on average the same price or more expensive. The bed shipped fast and was very easy to put together. Mazie wasn't sure at first so we put her old crate rug on the bed and she has slept and lounged in the bed since. She can lounge perfectly comfortable even though she is a bit bigger than 90 lbs. Would recommend it if your dog is on the cusp of the 90 lbs weight limit. The bed covering is a very nice smooth neutral fabric that goes well with our transitional kitchen/family room. It is not a canvas or fleecy material like most dog beds. I am hopeful it will be easy to launder. So far - happy all around (the dog and the people).

Got a Casper dog bed a few weeks after adopting my beautiful Gracie. She’s a Beagle/Aussie shepherd and was all of 4 mos. when I got the mattresses - got the medium size for her figuring she’d grow into it. I didn’t have to convince her at all - just put it down in the mud room and let her get to know it. After a bit of nose investigation, she stretched out on it and uses it every night now. Sometimes if we’re too loud watching tv or gaming in the living room (and disturbing her sleep :) she’ll get off the couch and head for some privacy in the mud room and we’ll find her asleep on the bed. She was about 17 lbs. when we got it, and now full grown at 35 lbs. Medium was the right size for her. I was worried it could be an expensive item that appealed to me but not so much to her, but she really loved it from the beginning.

Unfortunately we had to dispose the bed as our puppy mistook the mattress for a pee pad. This meant that we had to wash the bed frequently as the fabric did not take well to the washing machine it balled up and became rough to the touch. I have had an excellent experience with your human mattresses, but I must say that I was very disappointed with your venture into dog beds. As a final note, the assembly of the mattress is far from ideal. I suggest you go back to the drawing board or exit this product category.

Kitsu seems to prefer her new Casper bed to her previous bed. Kitsu is a 12 year old shiba Ina weighing in at 23 lbs. That being said the bed may be a bit small for her. I put her new bed next to her old one and she only got in her Casper bed so I guess it’s comfy for her. Still kind of wonder if next size bed would be better.

Loves this bed! She is over 100lbs and they don’t have a bigger bed so I bought the large. It’s well made and easy to put the foam inside, I did have my son’s help though. I put it on the floor in the dining room to be with us and so she doesn’t have to lay on the tile and she didn’t get up for at least 2 hours. The foam didn’t even sink. I’m sure over time it will, but for now is very sturdy! Hopefully they sell the inserts separately.

Loves bed but....

Lexi loves the bed. However on the first day she found the zipper towards the bottom. Her teeth got caught on the string and she broke through the cloth. I caught this quickly and have since attempted to sew the zipper area.
Lexi is also a pitbull bulldog mix and is incredibly strong. I was surprised as to how this occurred on the first day. I would recommend Casper maybe double stitch around the outer zipper. Maybe they could tuck the zipper away all together.
I don't blame Casper since Lexi does enjoy the bed. She now uses it with supervision.
