Kids, for those of you with young dogs, don't buy this until after your pup has chewed up his big box store/pet store bed and you have the pup under control. That is, when you are the pack leader. Reward the pup with this bed.
The bed's cover surprised me. It's advertised as washable, as expected. But it has a, well, suede-like feel to it. Wow! Some kind of "micro-fiber." The dog doesn't give a damn, but just as with dog food, vendors must appeal to the human purchasers.
Go with Casper. Even though that's the name of my home town . . .

We saw these first in Palm Beach and purchased in Denver...we shouldn't have waited. The dogs no longer want to get up on our bed, they have their own super comfortable bed to sleep away the day on. The high quality of the construction is LIGHT YEARS ahead of standard low cost dog beds. It's expensive because it should be, cheap prices will get you cheap quality.

I love this bed, well really my dog loves this bed! He spends a lot of time in it happily sleeping. He's 17 and has arthritis and he's very comfy in this bed! It relieves his pressure points. It also looks great too!
