This mattress is so comfortable. My owner got me a large, even though I’m a medium sized dog— I love to sleep flat out on my side. This mattress is huge and a really thick foam. My old bones love it. It’s so big that my human can cuddle with me on this bed. Absolutely love it!

My 13-year-old chihuahua mix is still extremely spry, but I wanted to treat him to an extra-nice bed for his twilight years. We got a Casper (for people) last year, he was VERY into it and immediately began sleeping better, so I figured he'd like a Casper of his own.
The first thing we noticed is that it's BIG—bigger than his other plushy bed—so it doesn't fit into the space where his other bed is (yeah, we're a Two Dog Beg household). But it's great for the office, where he likes to sit while my boyfriend works. It's also an interesting material that isn't quite as squishy as he's used to.
But pretty much right away, he got into it and started spinning around to get cozy. Within a few days, he was sleeping like a puppy. He also really appreciated the waffle toy Casper sent along! It now lives in the bed.
Overall, he seems to be a tiny king in his cozy spot. He's got ample room to turn and lay down and get comfortable. I feel like an extra-small size for really little dogs could be useful for smaller living situations, but otherwise, this is definitely a nice space for my old guy.
