Great place to sploot and dig

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still his second favorite to the cold bathroom floor but I’ll take it. Tried many other beds. If he’s not on it, sometimes I curl up on it. Higher bolsters would be amazing. Also easy to wash and he loves digging. Better than a sandbox for sure.

Couldn't wait to treat my dog to what I believed to be a quality bed. Once I opened the shipping box, I removed the plastic bag containing the cover. Like being hit in the face, the smell coming from inside the bag was a combination of must and mold. I realize Covid drastically reduced sales of Casper products, but apparently the dog beds have been stored in a warehouse for a few years. There was no way I was going to let my dog sleep on this bed, much less even have it in my house, so I repacked everything and throw it all in the dumpster. Yes, it was an expensive lesson.

Great bed structurally, operationally poor

I bought this bed for my aging 55-lb German Shorthaired Pointer mix back in October 2020.
Pros:
- Size of bed is great
- Foam has never compressed, still holds its shape, and she loves the bed. I love that it elevates her off the ground so she doesn't paw the ground while running in her dreams.
- Tan coloring is nice as is woven fabric
- Well-thought-out design for each of the side cushions to be the same length so you don't have to figure out which one goes where
Cons:
- Within the first few days after getting the bed, misc dried dog saliva spots from her having chewed some bones there showed up very prominently.
- After the first wash the microfiber fabric pilled and the stains never came out, despite treating with Nature's Miracle as suggested by the Casper support team.
- I've washed the bed cover approximately 10 times over the past 10 months and it's become more pilly and ratty looking each time
- The function of the two zippers has significantly degraded making the inside zipper impossible to fully close and the outside zipper extremely difficult. It now takes me 10-15 minutes of struggling to get the cushions back in the cover after a wash.

I was really excited when ordering this bed and had really high hopes for it, as everything I've bought from Casper has been awesome. Unfortunately, it hasn't lived up to my hopes and causes more frustration that not now.

Old Lady Approved!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 14yo old lady dog, Persia, loves her Casper bed!! She was getting too arthritic to get onto the couches, and honestly, we were glad about that as she’s a bit incontinent. When we first gave her this bed she was hesitant “This is no couch,” but now she’s so in love with it! Made sure to spray it when it was new with some waterproofing spray just in case (from Cabela’s). Ten stars! Worth every penny
