Beautifully made! I just love her!

Wells is beautifully made with a real attention to detail. Her dress details are so lovely and the fabric they used is so high end and weighty. I love collecting these types of dolls and it’s a wonderful way to teach your children a little piece of history. Highly recommend!

A Barbie with a great historical story

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to get this doll for my girls but it sold out before I could get it. I was beyond elated that it was on the Mattel website. Ida B Wells was such a important figure in black history and women’s history so it’s so great Mattel did a doll on her. We home school so I incorporated the doll in learning and the kids loved that. I love how authentic looking the doll is, even down to the details of her hair.

It was great to introduce my kids to a new toy with a bit of new to them history. They’ve had fun expanding their play incorporating the new doll. Thank you Barbie for making this doll!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ida B Wells Inspiring Women Doll is just perfect. The quality of her face and hair are impressive. The newspaper she is holding is amazing. Her box tells her story clearly and her picture allows me to dream about what her life must have been like. I have been a doll collector for years and I look for dolls that having meaning and will gain in value and this doll meets those requirements. It also is great for little girls to play with and have a model to inspire to be. I can see the court room dramas being played out by little girls in the world of Barbie. Inspiring them that anything is possible.

Authentic Barbie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Barbie for my daughter for Easter. She loves it! It comes with authenticity paperwork and a stand she can sit on. She has movable arms and knees. The dress is very nicely made so you don’t have to worry about it easily tearing.

Bringing learning and play together
