It is super sharp and heavy duty without actually being heavy! Cuts great! I want every single utensil and cookware in this brand at patiently building my collection! Highly recommend these knives!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very sturdy and quite sharp. Slices through a tomato like butter. Then, can switch to a potato with no resistance. Handle isn’t wobbly and fits well in the hand. Very nice design. Looking forward to what they come up with next.

super sharp, great knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this knife for about 2 weeks and am super happy with it so far. It's very sharp and great for precision chopping like finely dicing an onion. Gives thinner slices than my other knives, as well. Two weeks of heavy daily use and no noticeable difference in sharpness. The grip is comfortable and the teeth on the santoku help to ensure nothing sticks to the blade when slicing or chopping, as well. Super happy with this knife.

The appearance is sleek and modern looking, it has a professional superiority compared to my other knives. It has a full tang which is an important quality in a knife's longevity, it helps prevent rust or weakness. The handle is very comfortable and ergonomically pleasing, a half bolster provides additional control. In mentioning control, I must add the balance is impeccable and allows the knife to move in a seamless manner as if it's an extension of your hand. It is very sharp and powerful, I am able to make precision cuts effortlessly in a variety of foods. Easy to hand wash and care for, the quality is top notch. In all, I am very impressed with it's design and it exceeds my experience with other knives. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

Smooth cut

I feel like a professional chef using it. Makes prep time so much easier when the knife just glides through. Only thing I wish it had was a sleeve other than that, I cant wait to get the others.

Good balance, doesn't stick to food

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this knife because I've always wanted a santoku knife. I have come to associate santoku knives with the groves on the knife to prevent food from getting stuck to the blade, (which I learned is known as a granton edge), but actually santoku knives are based on being a thinner blade with a straighter, less curved edge. This blade had good heft and good balance, and felt very sturdy. It cut through my food effortlessly in tests, and allows me to get very thin slices. It claims to NeverDull -- I assume it stays sharper longer, but I don't see how it stays sharp indefinitely without a straightener or sharpener stand. I haven't used it long enough to see how fast it dulls, but so far so good. Overall, this knife is great value for the price range.
