This is my preferred mask for respiratory and dust protection. I used 3M 8210's for thirty years prior to retirement. Best mask available for protection. K.F.
I had to cut off the lower band. And the top one pushes the mask into my nose. They are truly horrible. Can't use them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your comments and product feedback. It is very important that your 3M N95 Respirator seals completely to your face. The elastic head bands are necessary in order for the mask to fit securely. If a respirator does not seal well to your face, airborne hazards can enter around the gaps between the faceseal and the face. If you cannot achieve a good seal with your respirator, you should try a different model until you find one that is well sized and seals well to your face. 3M offers other N95 models including the 8200, 8511 and Aura 9205+. It is very important to always follow the model-specific user instructions for your respirator and to do a user seal check (fit check) before each use. Remember, the better the seal, the more of the air that you breathe goes through the filter. The 3M 8210 N95 face mask is comfortable, durable and is a great product. We are using them in paces where an N95 face covering is a better option than a disposable paper mask or reusable cloth mask and are very pleased. We have confidence in 3M and thank you for making these and for making them available. Based on our positive experience, I highly recommend.
This is an excellent product. I would order it again. INFO: (1) You do not have to order a case of 160 masks. If you are an individual consumer, you can order a box of 20. (2) All N95 and KN95 masks have a slight odor that comes from the chemicals in the filters. The odor bothers some people. You should let the mask air out before using it. (3) The masks should not be stored in a sealed plastic bag. They come in a plastic bag that is open at one end. You should store them the same way, so they are open to room air. WARNING: You must follow the instructions for hand-stretching the straps before you put on the mask. Some people did not read the instructions, and did not hand-stretch their masks, and they said that the straps were too tight, or they broke.
