The update ruined it

It was working great when I first got it until I updated it, the readings are delayed as far as her waking up & going back to sleep, the app force closes when I check on history and when I open the app sometimes it takes one minute to actually see her readings.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This stupid sock creates more anxiety than anything. The app doesn’t work 90% of the time. Don’t waste your money.

Love Until Sensor does not work

Loved for first year and a half, but since then have gone through 2 sensors right outside of warranty. "Buy a new one, we have a $30 off coupon". Lacking Quality.

Terrible Waste of Fabric

I have absolutely hated using this thing on my son. From the moment we put it on (correctly), we are incapable of rocking him to sleep as every few minutes, the god awful lullaby MIDI rings out because you happened to rock your child, god forbid, and it prevents anyone from sleeping or putting him to sleep without having to turn off the ear-grating sound. And then, once that’s finished, you have to either wait patiently for the sock to recalibrate, or wait for the song to screech again until you finally sit still in *just* the right way, only to start rocking your baby again and subsequently repeating the process. To waste money on this piece of fabric just to tell you what you already know (yeah, OF COURSE my child is awake. You picked the worst music imaginable to make sure he never sleeps) would be the biggest mistake of you and your child’s lives. I would recommend eating dirt before I recommend even procuring one of these for free.

Owlet has given me so much peace of mind. After losing my first daughter in the NICU, I was a wreck my whole pregnancy and the first few days after birth, afraid to put my newest daughter down, to look away, to sleep at all, especially when she started puking and choking at just 2 days old. I almost had to hit the code button in the hospital because she couldn’t clear it and was struggling for air. Because of the owlet I’m able to actually get some sleep and know that I’ll wake up if she needs help. It’s worth every penny spent. I do wish there was an app for watches so I could see her vitals on my watch, but I just make sure I always have my phone on me if I’m out of our bedroom.

So disappointed

I primarily use this as just a camera monitor these days, but the frustrations have been endless. Newborn issues were a lot of false alarms, but with your first baby (particularly one who got here early) the last thing you need is the anxiety of an alarm going off indicating something is wrong at 3 am. Nothing ever was. Now the camera constantly disconnecting. Morning afternoon and night. Will be totally fine and suddenly kicks me off. Extremely extremely frustrated and disappointed. This is not a cheap product. At this price point it should work as intended 100% of the time and we are functioning at about 20%.

Good information but very frustrating

Having our baby wear the sock gives us a good piece of mind and it also is extremely frustrating 6/7 nights. It goes off that it is not placed right, out of range, or something else. We will be in the same room nothing blocking the signal and it will go off. It goes off if my knee is between baby’s foot and case station. It goes off multiple times almost every night. I end up shutting it off while putting our baby to bed because it continues to go off multiple times.
