Good information but very frustrating

Having our baby wear the sock gives us a good piece of mind and it also is extremely frustrating 6/7 nights. It goes off that it is not placed right, out of range, or something else. We will be in the same room nothing blocking the signal and it will go off. It goes off if my knee is between baby’s foot and case station. It goes off multiple times almost every night. I end up shutting it off while putting our baby to bed because it continues to go off multiple times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great idea poor execution

this was given to us as a gift so I'm not even going to bother trying to reach out about replacement or warranty or anything but it seems to be an issue look at the 1 star reviews. The sock is constantly disconnecting and setting off the alarm even when we are in the same room it says sock out of range. last night it went off 26 times. I was really excited to get this and know for sure my baby is sleeping safely but at this point if i cant come up with a solution its pointless. i gave it 2 stars because again love the idea just need to work out the kinks

Good product

I bought this for my premature infant for piece of mind. We enjoy the product. The sock can be difficult to get on but once it is I it stays put. We also like having this product for if/when my child has a cold. If works well. I only gave a 4/5 because of the sock application.

I was already going to leave a raving review regardless of an incentive. This is exactly what I was looking for! My main reason for purchasing was peace of mind while baby slept at night. Everything else was bonus for me. The dream lab with tips is really insightful and helpful. The sock readings are fun to look at and compare with other nights/slew sessions. The sock fits my newborn perfectly and it seems very comfortable as my newborn has never fussed when we put it on her. The charge lasts all night without a problem. The sock has a hard time getting a clear reading when baby is kicking and fussing, but that is to be expected. I am very very happy with this purchase and have recommended it to many family members and friends. I took a big breath when purchasing because of the price, but my sleep is no longer anxiety filled. I don’t panic and check to see if she’s breathing anymore. (Baby is now 2 months, she was 2 weeks when we got the sock) The peace of mind is well worth the price.

Great safety features

I have had an owlet with my daughter and had purchased one with my son because how great the owlet was with my daughter, the owlet has been such a relief as a parent to know my child is safe at night. The only feature I wish the owlet dream had was the spo2 like the owlet plus.

Dream Sock great for sleep habits

If you are looking to get your baby on a great schedule for sleep the dream sock is for you. I loved being able to tell when my little one was in deep sleep. Please note that this sock is not like the smart sock and will not display oxygen levels but it is still a great product. Similar to a smart watch but for babies

Reassurance and peace of mind!

I bought the Dream Sock after using the Owlet Smart sock with my second child. I was sad to see the Smart Sock discontinued as I could not download the current app to use the device with my third child. However, I love the peace of mind that Owlet provides and decided to go with the dream sock once it was released. While I don't feel like I necessarily need help with sleep training, I do love seeing the stats about my little one's sleep patterns and find that helpful in learning how to best support her sleep. She is currently sleeping 8-10 hours a night, and it is reassuring to check my phone to make sure everything is going well each night. The base station plays a loud tune that I can hear in my bedroom and downstairs. It also sends an audible notification to my phone to alert me to check on her when readings have been off. Of note, customer service has been fantastic both times I reached out to them, which is always appreciated! The only issue I have is with the smartphone application itself as it is often delayed in showing data/status upon opening but this is not significant enough to impact my opinion of the device!

Recommend the Dream Sock

We got the Dream Sock to use for our second baby who is a newborn. I am not sure how we did not have the Sock for our first kid! I love the app, insights, and alerts. An unanticipated favorite part of the app is sleep program advice.
The Sock and app were easy to set up. I like that you can just drop the sock on the base station to charge. There are, of course, connectivity issues from time to time as there are with all smart devices. However, the peace of mind and tracking that it provides far outweighs this issue. I would recommend it to friends and family with a new baby.
