Horrible experience

I bought this device before my baby was born and can’t return it. This device is our biggest purchase regret. It goes off all the time when my baby is fast asleep. It’s cause so many issues with the stress it causes. The company won’t refund us but sent a new sensor. It’s still not working properly. It’s been a complete nightmare. We don’t plan on using it anymore and it’s now an expensive paperweight.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

THIS SAVED MY SONS LIFE

I never EVER write reviews on anything but this sock SAVED my sons life this week!!! It kept alarming me for a very hight heart rate of almost 300! But my son was acting totally calm and completely normal, he was even about to be asleep so we would have never ever known without the sock! We rushed him to the ER and he ended up staying in the hospital for 2 days. He was diagnosed with a heart condition called SVT. He is OKAY and this condition is manageable and possibly only temporary. But I could not imagine what would have happened if we didn’t catch it. I owe my entire life to this sock. I am holding my baby tight because of it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Would have rated 5 stars but it burned my baby

We loved using this for our child - it gave me total peace of mind and worked great for several months. Then, I noticed a small red mark on my baby's foot. I didn't think much of it until the next day when I saw another similar mark on my baby's other foot. Both lined up exactly with on of the sensors on the sock. I was horrified and disappointment because the sock is EXPENSIVE. I wanted to buy a new one so that we could use it for future children...saved up and made it our one big purchase. I am incredibly disappointed to no longer be using it and to have spent all that money on something that hurt my daughter.

Do not buy this. If the product is faulty, they won’t replace it or give you a refund. They will just send you copy and paste messages and links for you to figure out the issue yourself, until you give up.

Saved my baby's life.

Our baby had a seizure in the middle of the night at the age of 1. Had we not had the owlet sock on her she would have suffocated in her vomit. The owlet sock started alarming because of her high heart rate and we were able to get her to the hospital. Owlet saved my baby's life.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buyer beware - avoid this company!

DO NOT buy!!! Bought 13 months ago and it stopped working 3 days ago. There is now constantly a “placement issue” and it cannot read stats although everything is set up correctly. Customer service just said oh well! They are “sorry” but here’s the link to buy a new sensor! It’s faulty. I bought the 0-5 year dream sock ($$!) and take very good care of it. No reason for it to just stop working. I had such bad issues with the owlet smart sock I should have known not to by another product from owlet. Now I need to warn others. Don’t make the same mistake as me. Look into other products with better warranties, customer service and better prices. What an absolute rip off.
** I just found similar reviews of the same issues with other buyers — wish I would have read that before purchasing this product! Huge mistake!! **

Camera is HORRIBLE.

WHEN the app works, the sock is great and does its job. The camera, however, is horrible. The audio does not work, there is a constant loud chirping sound coming from the camera and it’s all you can hear from your phone as the monitor. To hear recorded videos I would have to download them to my phone to have the sound, now that doesn’t even work as the video saves as just a white screen with no sound. I tried reaching out to support to see what could be done and was not met with any resolutions. Absolutely NOT worth the money.
