Horrible experience

I bought this device before my baby was born and can’t return it. This device is our biggest purchase regret. It goes off all the time when my baby is fast asleep. It’s cause so many issues with the stress it causes. The company won’t refund us but sent a new sensor. It’s still not working properly. It’s been a complete nightmare. We don’t plan on using it anymore and it’s now an expensive paperweight.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not buy this. If the product is faulty, they won’t replace it or give you a refund. They will just send you copy and paste messages and links for you to figure out the issue yourself, until you give up.

Buyer beware - avoid this company!

DO NOT buy!!! Bought 13 months ago and it stopped working 3 days ago. There is now constantly a “placement issue” and it cannot read stats although everything is set up correctly. Customer service just said oh well! They are “sorry” but here’s the link to buy a new sensor! It’s faulty. I bought the 0-5 year dream sock ($$!) and take very good care of it. No reason for it to just stop working. I had such bad issues with the owlet smart sock I should have known not to by another product from owlet. Now I need to warn others. Don’t make the same mistake as me. Look into other products with better warranties, customer service and better prices. What an absolute rip off.
** I just found similar reviews of the same issues with other buyers — wish I would have read that before purchasing this product! Huge mistake!! **

I bought this sock brand new off the website and tried to get it set up. I went through customer support and it was determined that I had a faulty sensor. They sent me a replacement. The replacement sensor is also faulty. I spent so much money on a sock that I can not use on my baby.

I personally love the Owlet Dream Sock due to the peace of mind I l receive while my baby and I sleep. The sock alarms different sounds for the different issues with the sock as baby sleeps so that you know how to identify the severity of the alarm such as; sensory issues with the sock being out of range or not on baby’s foot well enough, unhealthy oxygen levels, and discomfort within baby’s sleep. It also helps me track his sleep cycle, oxygen levels, movement, and heart rate. This sock is my first priority before putting my baby to bed at night to ensure I will be aware of any issues while he is sleeping and if not, rest assured I will still get a peaceful sleep.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Camera is HORRIBLE.

WHEN the app works, the sock is great and does its job. The camera, however, is horrible. The audio does not work, there is a constant loud chirping sound coming from the camera and it’s all you can hear from your phone as the monitor. To hear recorded videos I would have to download them to my phone to have the sound, now that doesn’t even work as the video saves as just a white screen with no sound. I tried reaching out to support to see what could be done and was not met with any resolutions. Absolutely NOT worth the money.

I have had two owlets, the old sock and new dream sock, both stopped working just past a year and guess what warranty is only good for a year. Imagine that. Customer service is pretty much useless, they just repeat what the website tells you to do to troubleshoot. Do not recommend.
