Wish it tracked temperature

I've been using the iwlet fir nearly three months and love the peace if kind it offers. It took a little while to get the hang of putting it on right. As a newborn and when we needed to size up the sock it fit a bot loose so when he would kick or wiggle around it would fall out of place and alert but that problem is basically fixed as the baby grows.
The two things I wish it offered was body temperature tracking and a way to turn off the alert when your baby is awake and may need consoling because he is in a bedside Bassinet so I'm already aware he's awake and usually trying to change his diaper calm him and the alarm going off makes it stressful.
Totally recommend the owlet though. This is my fourth baby and I love that I can sleep peacefully.

One of my Must Haves as a new mom!

I received this as a gift from a friend and it has been my most used and most appreciated gift I received at my baby shower. I love the feature where you can add sleep and get predictable sleep times for your baby. I highly recommend this to any mom!!

Short Battery Life

I got the owlet sock for my first baby in 2021. While I love the features of the sock, unfortunately, I have had to replace the sensor twice now as the battery will not hold a charge. I wanted to use this very expensive device for my second baby born in 2023, however, I cannot as the battery will not hold a charge for more than 3 hours. While I would love to write a great review, I cannot because it is not worth the hefty price tag if it doesn’t last more than one year. Especially when it’s stated to work for children up to 5 years old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

mental relief

My son was in the NICU and had the benefits of being hooked up to monitors and we were able to see his levels. As much as we wanted him home and off monitors, it was nerve wracking having him home and not knowing what his levels were while he was sleeping. the owlet sock has put my husbands and myselfs mind at absolute ease every night. ive heard not great stories, but ive never had a problem.

Peace of Mind

My baby is 7 weeks old and we have used our Dream Sock since day 1 at home. As a naturally anxious person, this gives me peace of mind that is worth every penny. The sock works really well and we only get placement errors when baby gets scrunched up while being held. The only criticism I have is that the app is sometimes slow to load, but it’s not a huge deal considering what it has to load.
