Very accurate and helps ease a new parents mind!

I bought the owlet dream sock before i had my first daughter and i have used it the past 6.5 months every night! It has given me so much peace of mind and i have never had any false alarms or readings. i honestly would never get any sleep if it was not for the owlet.

Ok, but needs major upgrade

Like many others, I purchased this sock for peace of mind, which it provides. I love seeing in real time the transition from wakefulness, to light, to deep sleep. This has been an overall good purchase. However, like others have mentioned, the obnoxious alarm, when the sock isn't positioned right is overwhelming. The quality of the sock itself is poor. I can see the fabric coming apart and both the grey and green layers separating more & more each day. The battery life is atrocious. I wish the battery lasted longer than 16h. I also wish the spo2 sensor wasn't so sensitive. At times, the base wakes everyone up, including the baby because it can't get a good reading. After adjusting the sock and silencing the alarm a few times, I find myself ditching the sock some nights because it's too much of a hassle. Also, this is an additional note, unrelated to the sock 3, but I purchased an expensive, used owlet 2 on marketplace not knowing that the app was discontinued. I didn't like having to buy the 3 because of this inconvenience. It seems like a lot of other people were in the same boat.

Peace of Mind

We bought this before our little guy arrived and ever since he's come home it has been the best peace of mind and also helps us to know his oxygen levels, what kind of sleep he is getting, and his heart rate!

Good features

I had the European version and it was so much better, I made the mistake to buy the US version. I had to buy an Android phone for the app, as it’s not working on IOS. This is totally unacceptable!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Peace of mind

Got the version with the camera, sock. Sock extension. The camera is surprisingly really good quality, the image is clear and the latency, on our low speed internet, is very quick. Has a lot of settings to adjust the notifications for movement and cry detection. The camera can also be used as just an audio monitor as well. It also comes with channels for the wire which I like. Camera uses a magnetic mount that is very strong yet easy to adjust.
The DreamSock works just as well. The battery last 16 hours or so. It is fairly intuitive to apply, doesn't seem to be uncomfortable for the baby at all. The app will remind you to clean it. If a reading gets to low or the sock gets out of place for some reason the receiver puck lights up and sound along with the app will notify. Also if used diligently can tell you when it might be a natural nap time for baby as well. Even if you don't have the sock on you can record sleep manually.
Being able to monitor the SpO2, respiration, movement, sleep quality, waking, room temp, room humidity. Really does give you piece of mind that you can look at or get notified if the baby is in distress.

Most needed baby product

My brother and sis in law had this product with their baby girl and they swore by it. They got it for me for our little boy and it is the absolute best thing ever with a new born especially as a first time mom. The peace of mind it gives you while they are sleeping you are able to get an easier night sleep. Not having to touch their belly’s in the middle of the night, being able to put on during a nap in their crib has made the transition to his room so much easier. I keep the monitor on all night. I especially love the new feature that allows you to be in full screen mode and gives you the HB and O2 levels right on the top of the screen. It will alert you if hb or o2 levels go too low. It also allows for me to see how well they slept through out the night. If I notice more fussiness or just out of character behavior I check the history and notice that he had a lot of awakenings. Don’t hesitate to buy this. It’s worth every single penny.

My lifesaver

After having my first baby my anxiety got to an all time high , I could not sleep at night because I thought something bad would happen to her and I wouldn’t be awake to hear it , when she was 3 weeks old we bought the owlet and it has truly been my life saver, I get a peace of mind and the whole house gets a good nights rest
