Peace of mind

We bought this within the last month. We are about to transition our baby into her crib in her room. I needed this for my peace of mind. She has asthma and it scares me her not being right beside me. The only thing is I do have the base in her room and she’s in our room if her dad gets her on his side of the bed she is to far away to pick up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This sock has been great for a little added peace of mind with our second and third that we wish we had with the first child. However, it’s one downfall is that if it disconnects from the base (which it seems to do more frequently now) it plays a song at full blast to ensure the whole family, including the baby you just got back to sleep wakes up. Trust me, a quiet beep would do just fine, or if it tried a little longer to establish a connection on its own.

Monitor While Sleeping

I bought an updated dream sock after having a premie. It was important to be able to monitor his oxygen level while sleeping. It has been great thus far and I love how the new sock comes in different colors. Additionally, in comparison to the older sock, the new one seems less sensitive. However, I wished the sock can be worn on both feet rather than having a separate one for each foot.

We loved the dream sock until the sensor started glitching g and cracked unfortunately our warranty was up so we just stop using it but it was amazing g while it worked

App flaws

I’ve had this for several days now and am somewhat disappointed with the app. Several times I’ve started sleep cycles that have lasted anywhere from 45 minutes to over an hour (naps). The app would track these sessions once I put the sock on however once I removed the sensor and ended a sleep session, it never got logged in the history. It would track it as it was occurring but never log it (I even waited the customary 10 minutes it says to wait). So the sleep predictor function for me is useless. I think this could be a great product but the way the sleep sessions get logged are hit or miss and unfortunately, it kind of voids their algorithms. Disappointed after spending so much money. Additionally, there is no notification if oxygen levels or BPM get too low - that would be helpful as one of the main reasons we purchased this was for that feature.
When I first set up my account, it asked me for babies weight. Now there is nowhere on the app to change this. Also, I really dislike that the sensor/sock plays an alarm if it is not put on the base - disrupts nighttime sleep if it accidentally comes off the foot.
In theory this is a great product but there needs to be some serious updates done if Owlet is to be successful.

Love the peace of mind!
