The camera for the dream duo does not work well AT ALL. It is almost always buffering when you go to check in on baby. Additionally, purchasers need to be aware that there is no easy way for Owlet notifications to bypass a "silent" setting on your phone. The only solution is to go in and silence notifications for every single other app on your phone, then leave your phone's sound on at night to be alerted if baby makes noise (again, this is referring to camera portion of the dream duo).
Beware of their return "policy" they will state, that is not listed on their website. They will not accept any return for a purchase made 6 months or more in the past, despite their satisfaction guarantee. This can be challenging, given the nature of the product being used when baby is ready to sleep in their own room. In our case, and I'm sure many others', we purchased this in preparation for baby and set up when they moved to their own room (6 months later).
If I would've known what I know now, there is no way I would have purchased this.

I find it comforting to see my baby's heart rate and oxygen saturation. I wish the oxygen saturation was in real time rather than the average over 10 minutes.

I purchased the Owlet after my daughter had a BRUE episode at one month old. It’s been part of her nighttime and naptime routine since then and it gives me the peace of mind I need to get sleep myself. It’s accurate and responsive. It’s worth every dollar and I would recommend this to any parent who has anxiety and wants the added comfort and peace of mind…. And sleep!
