A must have!!

We used the Owlet 2 for our daughter 6 years ago and didn’t know how we were going to live without it once she out grew it! She was born prematurely and this amazing device gave us immense peace of mind. We always practiced safe sleeping but looking over in the dark and seeing that soft pulsing green light made you know everything was ok. The sock was extremely helpful during colds since she always had severe upper respiratory infections that required nebulizer treatments. We could safely monitor her heart rate and oxygen levels. I’m writing this review because we almost did not purchase the outlet sleep sock for our son since we heard that there were changes made from the Owlet 2 and it didn’t function the same way in real time. I took a leap of faith and bought the product and I couldn’t be happier that I did! While changes were made, it still functions pretty much the same although the oxygen average is on a 10 minute delay, the heart rate is real time and it immediately lets you know if your baby needs assistance. We received a purple alert not a week ago when our babies heart rate climbed above the acceptable limits and were able to take him to the emergency room for treatment. We never would have known that there was an issue otherwise. RSV followed and we were able to keep a watchful eye, monitor his oxygen levels, and once again, know when we needed to take him for help in the middle of the night. This is worth every penny and more. Don’t hesitate for another minute, it will be the best thing you ever purchased for your child!

Won’t work on my home network

Product only works with 2.4GZ WiFi. It desperately needs to upgrade to current technology. This is embarrassingly outdated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sleeping better

I have been using the owlet for about two weeks now. And with that I am able to determine her sleeping habits and can get up before she wakes up and make her bottle thy way I’m not woken out my sleep with yelling and crying. This way she gets her bottle right away and falls back to sleep faster. I love the product itself, of course with it being fairly new there are some tweaks to improve but overall very good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My wife and I purchased a smart sock and camera combo a couple of years ago because friends swore by it. They weren’t lying. This helps with peace of mind. This was so great, we bought the newest Dream Sock recently as a gift for a friend. We know this will help our friends the same way it helped us.

An absolute need

This sock has truly improved my mental state. As a parent who’s experienced a loss this sock very seriously eases my anxiety. I know that my daughter is okay. The app is an added bonus to track her sleep and we will use these for all of o ur future children as well!

Lifesaver

I bought this for my third. It literally save his life when he caught RSV. We had taken him the night before to the ER and they sent us home stating nothing could be done. Over night his oxygen levels dropped so low and it was border line intubation and the sock notified us and we were able to get him to the hospital (different one this time) and they transported him to a children’s one out of state until better

worked for 2 months

I originally loved this product, being able to check on baby easily by looking at the app or to sleep peacefully knowing if baby was uncomfortable the sock would alert me and wake me up. Unfortunately after only 2 months it disconnected from wifi and couldn’t connect to the app, I tried with customer support to reconnect and it didn’t work and they said the base would likely need to be replaced. Especially as it eventually disconnected from the sock as well and wouldn’t recognize it. Unfortunately I no longer had the reciept but for such an expensive product to only get 2 months out of it is extremely frustrating regardless of when I purchased it, as well as the store I bought it from closed so I can’t even try and get proof at this point. They really should stand by their product or have better solutions when they quit working after a short period of time.
