We’ve used the Owlet sock for our baby since she was 2 months old. We didn’t use it at first just because we were so overwhelmed with learning how to care for our newborn, that we did not have the mental capacity to open up a box and read a manual. Once we finally did start using it though, we slept so much better. I wish now that we would have used it the very first night.
I have terrible eyesight so looking at the monitor in the middle of the night to see our baby breathing is a challenge. Having the base station up high on our windowsill allows me to see the slow blinking green light indicating that all is well without me having to fumble for my glasses.
We’ve had 3 false alarms in the 7 months that we’ve used the sock. While there was some minor panic and loss of sleep, I would always choose the false alarm than the possibility of missing something terrible by not having the sock. I wish I could keep it on our baby through college!

I have postpartum anxiety and The owlet is the reason I can sleep! It was difficult at first because my baby was a preemie and his foot was too small but once he hit 7ish lbs it fit well and I don’t get any false alarms! I love that I can see his stats on the app in real time. Will ALWAYS recommend!

We love our Owlet!! It allows us to sleep peacefully knowing we will be notified at the first drop in our babies oxygen. SIDS is terrifying as a new parent, first night home from the hospital we had the Owlet sick overnighted to help give us some peace of mind. We don’t go a night without using it, it’s part of our essential pack list when leaving. Highly recommended to all parents, especially new ones.

When I tell you this made me so less anxious as a first time mom. I love that I could Get live updates in the app as well as a video monitor. I really believe this product is why I was Able to get some sleep in the first few weeeks. My daughter also had the croup and using the dream sock helped me get some piece of mind. I recommend Highly to any parents

This product really brings peace of mind when it comes to my infant having safe sleep. Especially since he likes to roll on his side and has been doing it since birth. The only downside is that the signal for the sock doesn’t reach the other side of the house and will alarm if we don’t disconnect the bast from the sock before going on that side of the house. We also found that the sock was not able to be used at hotels during travel as it would not connect to the hotel wifi or a cellphone hotspot.

Love the sock, hate the camera. Super laggy, even with updated firmware. I hate that you can’t turn it off, the only way to turn it off is to unplug. It would also be nice to have an option to purchase additional monitors for viewing while at home. It’s great to be able to watch from my phone when I’m not home, but would be great to have the option to switch to a portable video monitor when home so I don’t have to kill my phone battery with the app on the in the background.

The owlet sock itself provides a great peace of mind for monitoring baby, and the camera connection in addition to the health status in the same app is even better. I love being able to see my baby and their health stats together. With motion, sound, and cry detection, it also can record clips when those things happen as well, which I love. They just added a sound feature, which I haven’t yet used. There is the speaker/microphone combo which works well too. After having a fullterm loss my first pregnancy, I NEEDED this for my own mental health to monitor my earthside baby. It helps so so so much, highly recommend.
