I was really excited when I saw the oxygen and heart rate tracking came back. But was soon disappointed when I learned it doesn’t do live readings and alert anymore like the original. So I returned it as it is expensive and didn’t do what I was hoping.

Incredibly disappointing design

This product in theory would be great, however there is no option to mute the base of the sock— meaning that if your child bumps the sock in the middle of the night and it disrupts the sock’s ability to read their vitals, the base will play an incredibly loud lullaby… waking you and your baby up. There is no functionality to mute or lower this volume. A very disappointing design flaw that makes this product pretty useless to me unfortunately.

Dream sock went offline for myself and others

I use this sock every night to cut down some of the anxiety of being a new mom and while I wanted to give a great review I can’t. It’s 1:56 in the morning and I can’t sleep. Why? Because 3 hours ago when i went to put the sock on my daughter’s foot the app kept saying the sock had been removed. Went to go re-add it and I can’t. Attempted to just create a new account and add the sock and you can’t even choose to add a sock AT ALL. I go on twitter and find out the sock is offline in general. Everyone is having the same problem. I bet most users don’t even know the sock isn’t working and are just blissfully sleeping thinking this device will notify them if something happens with their babies. I’m really disappointed. People put so much trust and confidence into this device.

App does not display oxygen or heart rate

Maybe I missed something but I do not see any oxygen or heart rate readings. I just set up the device and the charging pad is green. The app is displaying over 473k hour session when I just installed it. I'm so confused. Also, it look as if some of the words are cut off. I updated phone and app. How do I see the oxygen or heart rate? That's the whole reason I bought this item.

Very disappointing

The app does not work. Unable to see any live readings, continuously says app searching for base station. Very disappointing!

I personally love the Owlet Dream Sock due to the peace of mind I l receive while my baby and I sleep. The sock alarms different sounds for the different issues with the sock as baby sleeps so that you know how to identify the severity of the alarm such as; sensory issues with the sock being out of range or not on baby’s foot well enough, unhealthy oxygen levels, and discomfort within baby’s sleep. It also helps me track his sleep cycle, oxygen levels, movement, and heart rate. This sock is my first priority before putting my baby to bed at night to ensure I will be aware of any issues while he is sleeping and if not, rest assured I will still get a peaceful sleep.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Going on 3 years of LOVING our Owlet!

My almost 3 yr old son has several medical diagnoses, and we LOVE the Owlet. While we are aware it is not a medical device, it gives us so much peace of mind. When medical problems do arise, it shows his increase in heart rate and even showed his O2 decrease when he had RSV last year. We were able to tell my son’s pediatrician this and take extra precautions. We will use the Owlet as long as we can!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product does not connect to wifi

This product is garbage! I tried connecting to wifi and it did not want to connect don’t waste your money!
