Great peace of mind

We’ve had this product for 5 years now as we got it with our first child! It is a great peace of mind for any parent to have this, you can check on the babies vitals at anytime and you can know it’s working even if your internet is a bit slow! Our child had RSV and it alerted us that he had low oxygen and we were able to get him to a hospital and taken care of because of this! We are so glad to have this product!

I’ve had the dream sock for 6 months now. If you buy anything for baby, I would recommend buying an owlet dream sock. This has helped me tremendously with my anxiety knowing baby is being monitored all night. You can’t put a price tag on piece of mind!

Best sleep I’ve had

As a first time mom, watching my baby breathe all night is how I spent the first weeks of my little one’s life. But since I have been using the dream sock, I have slept throughout the night, knowing my baby is being monitored! I can check the app to see how well he is sleeping and if he is actually asleep! Makes going to bed a breeze.

I received the mint color even though i ordered the sea foam green. Ended up working better because I like the mint much more as the sea foam green is much more like a teal. Sock and camera work as advertised. I do wish there was a way to turn off the loud, annoying sounds the base makes as i find them useless because the app notifications are much more convenient and MUCH less annoying and one cannot use the product without the app. I did upgrade to the new camera and recommend it over the older version. We do use both in different rooms of the house but I find the new one to work better overall.

Overall a decent product and provides a certain amount of peace of mind but...being in the nicu for over 3 months, or probably any amount of time, monitoring is habit and comfort. Coming home for the first time feels like being a fish out of water. We bought the owlet to provide a sense of security and lessen anxiety. What we didn't know, that would have made us ask to be sent home with medical monitoring equipment, is: 1. you can't change the high and low numbers where it alerts you (the preset HR numbers are set so far apart that in the hospital they would run to the bedside to see what is wrong but with owlet you won't know until you go back and look later, the 02 is so low that your baby can sit at 82% forever and it would never alert you, most likely incurring brain damage), 2. if the baby is moving it's feet, it doesn't read(it will either tell you baby is moving or it will alarm saying it's having difficulty reading the vitals) so unless they're dead asleep, it's not very helpful and alerts alot for not vitals related issues 3. the version that we could find the foot does not hook up to wifi so you have to be in a certain radius of the base station for it to read(this makes travel monitoring impossible and makes us have to pack up everything to spend the night elsewhere or even go nap outside or in another area of the home). Basically, we thought that the owlet would have better function and versatility. It does however allow you to stay where you are and see how baby is doing without having to go put your hand on them to check breathing or heart rate.

This review reflects my experience with and opinion of this product as an actual customer. Note: I received a small incentive for posting my opinion.
I can’t say enough about the Owlet Dream Sock. My husband and I are able to sleep much better knowing the Owlet Dream Sock is on our newborn. We also love that it lets us know how well our little one slept through the night. It’s nice to wake up at night, open the app, and see that she is peacefully sleeping. The Owlet Dream Sock is a must have for all parents!

Amazing device for parents

I have been using this dream sock on my baby the past few weeks and am so happy with all the information I have been given so far in the app. The device itself looks sturdy yet comfortable for my baby. You can tell that the TLC was put into the design and quality of materials used both so that they are comfortable for the baby AND can handle cleaning and getting bumped around etc. I love that it comes with different size socks for as my baby grows as well as being compatible with other socks that you can buy on their website in different designs and sizes as well.
I downloaded the Owlet Dream App and created my account. I was guided to pair the hub to my wifi, and then pair the sock sensor to the hub with no issues at all. I think anyone with minimal tech. skills would have no issue at all with setting up the dream sock, it's all very intuitive and easy to follow along.
The information that this device gives parents is amazing and I am able to peer into my child's sleep state and how his night is going. In the morning I can look at it as a whole and see how the night was. I can 100% say that it correlates with how tired or cranky he is with what the app says for the quality of sleep the night before. I know that this will be something we will use for years to come as I fully expect to purchase some of the extension socks for when he is older. Highly recommend this for anyone with a new baby or even parents with toddlers that are looking for help with their child's sleep.
