Not user friendly

Good product by concept. Works well once you get it going, but it is a chore every time we use it. A chore is one more thing you dont need. Its getting the app to connect amd read the sock so open and close the app and stare at it for sometime 10-15 minutes then it finally works. Then the alarm if it is not sitting juuust right. These are things you are not trying to deal with while getting baby down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Additional Peace of Mind

After a lot of research, my husband and I decided that this was a must have for our peace of mind for our first child. It is hard enough to sleep as a first time parent with the anxiety of their safety and knowing the sock is on her and that it will alert us if there is an issue or even if the sock is not placed properly for a reading gives us a bit more reassurance. Additionally, it gives a lot of insight to how well she is sleeping to be able to review her sleep patterns. We really like the phone app but I also appreciate that you can deactivate the alert by pressing the physical button on the charging dock if you keep this close to your bedside. We have found that the sock is comfortable for her to wear and she doesn’t even notice it or mind when it is on her! This is worth the investment and we can’t recommend it enough and have friends that have purchased in feel the same. This review reflects my experience with and opinion of this product as an actual customer. Note: I received a small incentive for posting my opinion.

Disappointed

I was really excited when I saw the oxygen and heart rate tracking came back. But was soon disappointed when I learned it doesn’t do live readings and alert anymore like the original. So I returned it as it is expensive and didn’t do what I was hoping.

Great Peace of mind!

We loved having the sock with our son as first time parents. It was easy to set up and very accurate. It gave us peace of mind knowing we could monitor our baby even in the dark. Definitely recommend this product!

Peace of Mind

As a new mom, I was fearful that when I put my baby down for a nap I would spend the entire time she was sleeping going in and out of the room to check if she was ok or breathing. This product has really helped put my mind at ease knowing she is being monitored and I can see that information without having to go in the room. It helps me sleep at night knowing if that I’ll be alerted if something is wrong. I am much less anxious when she is wearing the sock while sleeping. I really love this product,

Works, sometimes

The Bluetooth connection is very finicky. Often times the base station will not connect to sock correctly. The battery percentage constantly changes. It will say I have 14, 15, 4, or 10 hours left of battery, then say fully charged when I connect it to the base. Overall I have not been able to keep the sock connected for a full overnight session. It's super disappointing because the product was expensive, and I need it to actually work so I can get some sleep at night.

Great monitor

Owlet Dream Sock I struggled in the beginning trying to get my app to connect with the sock and base but once I was able to connect it worked great! I think it was more an internet issue than anything else. It’s very cool to see the breakdown of the data that it gathers about my child’s sleep. I like how it shares their oxygen levels, how long they are in each level of sleep, and the duration of their sleep. The sock comes with two different sizes for each foot as your baby grows. My child didn’t seem to mind wearing the sock while resting. I look forward to continuing to use this product and learning about all the other features and help that it offers. I would recommend this to any parent who would like to learn and understand more about their sleeping child and the safety features that it offers to help give a peace of mind.

I received this as a gift that we placed on our baby registry after multiple people who have the dream sock recommended it. Once we received it we found that setting up the sock was very easy as well as the download of the app. Placing the sock on our baby was also easy to do and had no issues syncing up with the base station as well as the app. The dream sock provides us the peace of mind knowing that our baby is sleeping well and breathing. We also like the fact that we both can be logged into the app at the same time. The other thing we like is cleaning the sock is easy to do. The baby does not seem to be bothered at all by having the sock on. I would certainly would recommend the dream sock for any parent who worries about sleeping and breathing.
