The owlet sock gives peace of mind that your baby is okay through the night. However, the base station needs to be very close to the crib. While room sharing this isn’t an issue but when my baby moves to his own room we will either have to stop using the sock or move the base station into his room which defeats the purpose of having it.

Love the combo! I like having both her sock & monitor in the same app & on my phone so i’m not carrying extra devices & i can see everything at once! The camera is really clear & i can see baby without issue. The sock was tricky at first as it was too big for our baby when we brought her home which was quite disappointing — she was 6lbs at birth. it fit her around week 2 otherwise the sock would alarm nonstop for not being able to read. Other con is i wish the base reached a bit further. otherwise this gives such good peace of mind! before the sock fit i found myself as a first time mom getting up multiple times in the night just to check she was breathing losing precious sleep lol no longer a problem now that she can wear it!
