Not all it is made out to be

The connection to WiFi is not clean and easy if you have a 5 MHz router. This device does not work on 5 MHz it runs on 2.6 MHz. Also, if you unplug or move the base, be prepared to redo all of you connections (cameras, owlets & profiles are not stored/saved).
For the price of these things you would think they would perform a LOT better!

Poor App for what could be a great product

I bought this for peace of mind for my baby as a first time mom. However the app constantly glitches and makes me more worried constantly checking on my baby because the app is having issues. I’ve always updated if the app had an update available and nothing has helped.

Dream Sock Disaster

The Owlet Dream Sock is awful. It has alarms for when your kid is AWAKE. The last thing any parent of a newborn needs when their baby is up at 2 am is an alarm on the Owlet Base and every iPhone in the house letting everyone know what they already know: that the crying child is awake. There is NO option whatsoever (in the Owlet app or otherwise) to choose which alerts you receive or to adjust the sensitivity of the notifications. My wife and I will be returning this product.

A game changer

I used the owlet duo for my first son who is now 3, I didn’t get much use from the camera bc he slept in the room with me, i made the mistake of selling bc I wasn’t planning on having another baby. I had my second baby early so I hadn’t yet ordered a new owlet. The few days I spent waiting on our sock we’re restless for me! The owlet definitely helps me sleep easier and I love being able to see how well baby slept the previous night!

Missing the O2 sat

Overpriced sleep monitor essentially. If you’re looking just for heart rate and sleep quality than this is definitely for you. I owlet used to be known for pulse ox as well as heart rate monitoring to give parents that peace of mind. Unfortunately, given the FDA circumstances they had to revamp the app. Otherwise it works great as a sleep monitor and heart rate monitor but again a bit overpriced for that.

Don’t buy this

This sock is not good. I do not recommend. It’s currently 9PM and my baby was asleep and the base station decided to not connect with the sock anymore and ring waking my baby up. I am currently in hour in trying to probably solve why the sensor will no longer connect to the base. Do not buy this.

Junk. Constant false alarms.

Bought this for my premee baby. She weighs five pounds. Sometimes the sock will be fine especially with a sock on over her foot. But 9/10 false alarms every five minutes. No matter what I do or read to prevent it, nothing works. Thing is absolute scam. O2 sensor isn't even accurate according to studies give false alarms. Returning it

Literally Saved a Life

My wife and I received the Dream Sock from a friend prior to the arrival of our daughter. 7 days after birth while wearing the sock and getting ready for bed, I received an alarm notifying me that the baby was in distress. I ran upstairs to find the baby completely calm with my wife in what appeared to be in a relaxed state. The Owlet sock was reading a heart rate of 270+. I quickly took the sock off reset it to make sure the reading were correct and they were. The Baby had gone into SVT and this was a serious situation. We quickly rushed the baby to the emergency room where she quickly worked on to try and bring her heart rate under control. many of the methods failed until nearly the doctors got to their one of their last resorts which incredibly worked. Our baby was transferred to the PICU for further assessment. Her heart rate is currently under control and thanks to the Owlet sock we were able to react quickly and there doesn't appear to be any long term damage to our beautiful baby. It was the scariest moment of my wife and I's lives. There were no symptoms and without the Owlet sock, who knows what could have happened if we had gone to bed. Given our experience I recommend this device to everyone with a baby to keep and eye on their vitals.
