Biggest scam out there constantly goes off with false readings or no readings. Literally will be holding the baby and it will go off for no reason. Don’t waste your money on this garbage. Works better as a sporadic alarm clock than a monitoring device. Many other devices out there that are much better than this piece of junk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The top recommendation I tell other first time moms about. Truly not sure if I would have gotten a wink of sleep the first couple weeks if we didn’t have our Owlet. This thing gave me the reassurance that if anything was wrong with my baby that I would be notified immediately. We did not have this for the first couple nights and I told my husband that I needed to buy one, so we did and I was immediately met with a wave of relief that night!

the camera itself is of high quality, i love that it reads the temp and humidity levels. however, sometimes it does take a while to connect to the app- i am often having to restart the app to be able to look at my baby girl and that gets frustrating! i definitely recommend the camera but just know sometimes the communication with the app lags.

As a first time mama, I absolutely love the Owlet Dream Duo! It eases my anxiety so much and helps me and my baby have a peaceful sleep. The room comfortability feature is definitely helpful and my baby wears her Dream Sock every night. The app is easy to use and understand. However I did have a little trouble connecting the base station and camera to wifi but eventually figured out the issue.
