False Readings and Battery life horrible

I bought this brand new for my baby and within the first time using it the battery would only last 4 hours. Said it was fully charged when plugged in but after unplugging it would die so fast. Also kept giving false readings saying there was a placement issue no matter how I put the sock on. For how expensive it is the quality is crap. Very disappointing product.

Overall the sock is a great resource for parents to ease their minds that their baby is breathing well while sleeping. The only downside is not having a continuous pleth to be able to see the accuracy of the number being shown on the app. Also would love to have the ability to have the app display while using another monitor that requires a phone app so you don’t have to switch back and forth.

Sleep data and tracking issues

Just to start, I have absolutely loved this device up until today. I have been using this since the day my baby was born and had zero issues. Out of the blue, the app stopped displaying sleep data for each nap/sleep session and doesn’t show anything in the history tab. I have tried EVERYTHING! Resetting the base station, unplugging the base station, cleaning the sock monitor itself, restarting my phone, logging off and back into the app, and nothing has worked. The app still shows live readings but I have absolutely no way to track my baby’s sleep. There is no update available and my phone is updated to the latest IOS version. This is ridiculous as we rely HEAVILY on this for sleep tracking. For how expensive this product is you would think any bugs or glitches in the app would be fixed immediately ESPECIALLY with this being considered a medical item. Also for the icing on the cake, owlet doesn’t have live support on the weekends so I’ve been on my own since end of day Friday when this started. Below are pictures of what I’m talking about. As you can see, the session length so far is 6h and 21m. The live health readings are fine (THANKFULLY), but when you go to the history tab there is NOTHING! I’ve been having to watch the app like a hawk in order to input my baby’s sleep manually. Owlet needs to fix this immediately. And if they can’t, I expect to be compensated as it is not doing what it is marketed to do.

Ehh, just ehh…

This is an good idea of an item, but for some reason, out of nowhere, we get “sock placement issue”, and even when our baby is laying there sleeping, and not even moving. It’s frustrating, super frustrating. Makes me want to return the sock. We always get some kind of unprompted warnings…it’s frustrating. Wakes us up all the time. Altho it’s a good idea of a product, and it’s nice to see the heart rate and oxygen levels.

Worth it but flawed

It’s a great product but I will say it is very sensitive with the base station and disconnects frequently. It also doesn’t work in hotels. For a family that travels constantly that’s not ideal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ok at best. Not sure if I’d buy again

I would rate this a 2 at best. If the child is in light or heavy in sleep, the graph is slow and behind. The sock disconnects very easily even if you are in the same room. We have been standing right next to the home base and it’s alerted us that the sock was disconnected. We double checked sock placement and everything is correct. The only good time to read and analyze the app is when it’s on the child. Once you take the sock off, it would be nice to give you a summarized sleep from the previous night. The one thing I would say is that the alerts are loud. Not sure if I’d buy again or recommend anyone to purchase it.
