We are currently using the owlet on our 3rd child, 4th child in our extended family. It has given us such peace of mind, especially in the first 6 months. The sensor just went out after 4 years, 4 kids of daily use for months and we were able to purchase the sensor replacement and finally mama can get a goods night rest again! can’t recommend it enough especially in those post partum scaries days.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I know some think the owlet is controversial but I couldn't do without it. After 3 years of IVF our baby was born a bit premature and had a BRUE at 1 month. ( yeah, I didn't know this was a thing either!!!). I ordered it same day at 2 am in the ER, spent another 8 hours at the hospital monitoring. Thankfully we haven't had another incident and right when we stopped using it baby came down with croup. I was glad I could put her back in our room and feel comfortable knowing she was not having difficulties breathing, and when she WAS! I was able to monitor her O2 to recognize when we needed to intervene.

Peace of mind and safe sleep

When our son was born he spent his first few weeks of life in the NICU for his breathing issues. We bought the dream sock the day we took him home and it has given us the greatest peace of mind overnight knowing if anything happens we will be notified instead of me lying awake in worry. The app is very informative and easy to navigate as well. My only reason for not rating 5 stars is that connecting it to WiFi can be such a pain. The process is super frustrating and I feel that there was still kinks to be worked out there.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great idea poor execution

this was given to us as a gift so I'm not even going to bother trying to reach out about replacement or warranty or anything but it seems to be an issue look at the 1 star reviews. The sock is constantly disconnecting and setting off the alarm even when we are in the same room it says sock out of range. last night it went off 26 times. I was really excited to get this and know for sure my baby is sleeping safely but at this point if i cant come up with a solution its pointless. i gave it 2 stars because again love the idea just need to work out the kinks
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Needs stronger Bluetooth

We use it every night. The only thing is, I wish the Bluetooth was stronger… we are constantly getting connectivity alerts in the next room changing night time diapers.. it alarms and wakes up one of us even though one of us is with the baby. My speaker works s multiple rooms over, why doesn’t this??

Good but not great

Product works great when child is sleeping but it’s very sensitive to wiggling especially when you are trying to hold your baby to get them to go to sleep. Frustrating!
