Sleep data and tracking issues

Just to start, I have absolutely loved this device up until today. I have been using this since the day my baby was born and had zero issues. Out of the blue, the app stopped displaying sleep data for each nap/sleep session and doesn’t show anything in the history tab. I have tried EVERYTHING! Resetting the base station, unplugging the base station, cleaning the sock monitor itself, restarting my phone, logging off and back into the app, and nothing has worked. The app still shows live readings but I have absolutely no way to track my baby’s sleep. There is no update available and my phone is updated to the latest IOS version. This is ridiculous as we rely HEAVILY on this for sleep tracking. For how expensive this product is you would think any bugs or glitches in the app would be fixed immediately ESPECIALLY with this being considered a medical item. Also for the icing on the cake, owlet doesn’t have live support on the weekends so I’ve been on my own since end of day Friday when this started. Below are pictures of what I’m talking about. As you can see, the session length so far is 6h and 21m. The live health readings are fine (THANKFULLY), but when you go to the history tab there is NOTHING! I’ve been having to watch the app like a hawk in order to input my baby’s sleep manually. Owlet needs to fix this immediately. And if they can’t, I expect to be compensated as it is not doing what it is marketed to do.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Malfunctioning

Our baby boy is a preemie so having this sock was an extra peace of mind. It was working wonderfully for 3 weeks then it started malfunctioning. It keeps alerting us of a "sock placement issue" when the sock is placed perfectly! We cleaned the sock according to instructions and everything but it still keeps waking us and baby up all night!

Dream sock app not available in our region

We were gifted the dream sock from our friends based in the UK (we live in South Africa) but were hugely disappointed to learn once the sock arrived that the app is unavailable in our country; luckily we can still use the sock by only using the base station but obviously we would love to have full function with the app included - when will the app be available in South Africa?

Peace of Mind

We’ve had the dream sock for over a week night and can’t describe how much peace of mind it gives us. After an unexpected length NICU stay, I told my husband we’ve buying an owlet before we go home ha. The base station is green throughout the night. I’ve had no connection issues in the night. It can be a little sensitive and if I’m changing her diaper or moving her around right before or after bed, the connection alert will go off but it’s not a big deal. As new parents and NICU parents, the owlet has been a game changer or peace of mind at home.

Love the sock- the app and features need work

We have used this every night since we brought him home and I can’t say enough good things about the monitoring and peace of mind it gives me. I actually really like the paid option as well my issues reside in the app and the settings you can and cannot change as well as the pain it is to set up without a 2.4ghz connection.
In the app you should be able to adjust volume more easily, also the sleep position changed from a single nights sleeping to total hours over lifetime use with no way to adjust that. I think if they had easier ways to categorize data that would be great. they collect all this data but only allow you to look at it according to what they say. I feel that it should be more adjustable to the user experience.
Also for the price the camera is a little unimpressive. There could be better zoom options and being able to move the camera angle better without having to physically move the camera.
Also would like to be able to use past 30lbs if I wanted Over all I would buy again over the others out there.

I can sleep in peace!

I love our dream sock. I’ve used it with two of my kids. It helps me sleep at night, knowing that something else besides me is watching over them. The app is simple and easy to use with I appreciate!

Love this sock!

This sock was the only thing to give me peace of mind as a new mom! I love that it’s loud enough that I can hear it throughout my house when I put my baby in her crib to nap. My only issue is that the app has a bit of a lag but it seems to improve with each update. If you were on the fence, go ahead and buy the sock. It’s worth it for the peace of mind!

This is an good idea of an item, but for some reason, out of nowhere, we get “sock placement issue”, and even when our baby is laying there sleeping, and not even moving. It’s frustrating, super frustrating. Makes me want to return the sock. We always get some kind of unprompted warnings…it’s frustrating. Wakes us up all the time. Altho it’s a good idea of a product, and it’s nice to see the heart rate and oxygen levels.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
