When my other babies were born, the Owlet wasn’t even a thing. 12 years later and I wasn’t sure if it was a necessity this time around. But when our full term, 9lbs 7oz baby ended up in the NICU for oxygen and heart rate issues, this was recommended to us by our doctor for peace of mind when we were able to finally bring her home. It has since become a part of our nightly routine and we look forward to checking out the stats every morning, while having peace of mind throughout the night that only the Owlet can give us. I am absolutely thankful that we invested in Owlet!

I wanted to love the Owlet sock – as a new mom, the idea of peace of mind while my baby slept was so appealing. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but comforting.
We had the sock on our baby exactly as instructed. One night, the red alert went off suddenly, signaling that she wasn’t breathing. I panicked, my heart dropped, and we rushed to check her – only to find her breathing just fine. She was sleeping peacefully. It turned out to be a false alarm – a total fluke – but it terrified us.
Even worse, after taking the sock off, we noticed a red mark on her foot. Within a day or so, it turned into what looked like a small burn or blister. After closely inspecting the sock and researching similar stories, I realized this wasn’t just a one-off – other parents have experienced the same issue. The sock had literally burned a hole into our baby’s delicate skin.
For a product marketed as a safety tool, this was a huge betrayal of trust. I expected peace of mind, not trauma and injury. I would urge parents to be cautious before relying on the Owlet sock. No amount of tracking is worth risking your baby’s comfort and safety.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is an amazing product! Honestly the peace of mind it’s given both me and my husband is worth the price alone. We started using it when our son was about 3 weeks old and before that I was pretty much staring at him all night to make sure he was breathing 🥴. Since we started using it we’ve been able to rest much better knowing that he’s being monitored. We still have him sleeping in the room with us in his bassinet and it’s such an anxiety reliever. Our son doesn’t seem to mind the sock, we mostly use it at night time and put it on him after he falls asleep so it’s very easy to put on. We haven’t gotten any false alarms, the only thing we sometimes have happen is when we change his diaper in the middle of the night, the sock moves a little and the alarm goes off but it’s an easy fix! I would recommend this product a million times over!

I absolutely love the owlet sock! It helps so much with a peace of mind while sleeping. So we can all get some much needed rest and reassurance. The only downfall is the app sometimes runs slow and you have to force close and relaunch BUT the sock is still working the entire time just the app takes a minute to catch up.

The sock works great. I would highly recommend any new parents to get the sock for their baby. The only issue with the sock is the setup. We had issues trying to get the wifi setup and running properly with the base + sock. It took multiple tries trying to get the base to connect correctly to the wifi.
That was the only most frustrating aspect to the sock was the setup. Other than that, the sock works great and the app is nice seeing in realtime the health of our child.

Great product helps me get sleep and get more comfortable. I havent had issues besides getting used yo the placement of the ddock sometimes but its pretty easy plus helps me understand how many hiurs my baby sleeps.
