Does it work, yes, we are able to keep better track of his naps and sleep patterns.
False alarms: Only when we are far from the base, we've never had a false alarm at night.
Peace of mind: It has helped me so much with my postpartum anxiety.
I would buy again for the peace of mind.

Excellent product to help reduce the anxiety around SIDS. The app works great, minor glitches, and even monitors without wifi it just doesn’t show you the readings on the app, but will still alert you if something happens. I thought I would be obsessive over it, but I didn’t and I’m glad to have it.

The owlet sock has provided so much reassurance while our little one is asleep, especially when he was under 3 months of age. The only complaint I would have is that the app does not allow real time tracking in Canada and so we were booted from the reading on my phone a few times early on.

We purchased the Dream Sock on the recommendation of our midwife after our daughter was diagnosed with laryngomalacia. It was difficult to tell if the sounds she made while breathing were laboured breathing or just her larynx and being able to confirm her pulse and O2 levels provided so much peace of mind. We still use it every night and it is helpful to see her sleep cycles graphed and keep an eye on how much she is sleeping each night.
