We purchased the Owlet after our son was in the NICU for a few days due to oxygen problems. The sock allows me fo get a little bit of sleep since I know it will alert me if anything is out of the normal. My only complaint is the sock will have a placement issue and go off whenever he moves to much, even if it is active sleep. He is a very active sleeper who kicks and spins in circles, so there have been a few instances where we have been woken up and there was nothing going on with him other than moving too much for the sock.

It has flaws, especially at the cell phone software level, it raises too many false alarms, the sleep assistance function to help the baby go off unnecessarily and there is no way to turn it off without discarding the rest of the alerts.

One night I didn’t put my baby’s sock on right and he was moving too much in his sleep to where his sock came off and it alerted me within a minute of it being off. The owlet sock is definitely worth it! I put it on my baby every night and it helps with the anxiety of wondering if my baby is okay while he sleeps.
