As a first time mom who works in healthcare, I know just enough about the potential problems that could occur to where I was so nervous about bedtime/sleeping. The Owlet Sock gives me such peace of mind in knowing that my baby’s heart rate and oxygen are at a safe level. I truly don’t believe I’d be able to sleep if she wasn’t wearing her Owlet. My only real “complaint” (but I wouldn’t even really count this as a complaint) is that the sock is very sensitive and will sometimes alarm that there is a “bad reading” during middle of the night diaper changes/feedings which can be a bit startling but the alarm is a sweet lullaby and I would rather it be more sensitive so that it keeps reading accurately. This is a splurge purchase I will encourage all of my expecting mom friends to make/register for!

We love our owlet. We bought the previous generation when our daughter had an episode where she stopped breathing and was hospitalized for 5 days. For us it brought comfort and peace of mind. Yes, there are occasional false alarms but after experiencing a real episode where we did not have the Owlet and only recognized what was going on by chance there is no alternative. We recently upgraded to the most recent dream sock for our most recent child who was born 4 weeks premature. I would recommend this product to anyone...no it's not a silver bullet, but for parents looking to have an extra tool to keep their sleeping child safe this product is great.

Peace of Mind

As an anxious first time mom, I feel so much better being able to quickly check on my babies vitals and know that he is safe. My only complaint is the fit of the sock. The ankle wrap on the smaller size is too small for my baby, but the next size is so large it wouldn’t fit. The Velcro also wears out quickly with daily use, so the monitor keeps getting knocked loose and I don’t want to wake my sleeping baby to fix it.
