Peace of Mind

As an anxious first time mom, I feel so much better being able to quickly check on my babies vitals and know that he is safe. My only complaint is the fit of the sock. The ankle wrap on the smaller size is too small for my baby, but the next size is so large it wouldn’t fit. The Velcro also wears out quickly with daily use, so the monitor keeps getting knocked loose and I don’t want to wake my sleeping baby to fix it.

As a first time Mom, my fear of SIDS and overall baby related anxiety was through the roof. I had heard of the Owlet but we decided to put $$ into other registry items, until my husband, who works in medicine, brought Covid home when the baby was 3 months old.
That night at 3am we ordered the Owlet because we couldn't find any other O2 monitor for infants, and I am SO grateful that we did. It saved my sanity during that illness and in the months since. It provides peace of mind for a Mom who constantly is checking on the baby- I'm the one who will hover to make sure she's breathing, and this just cuts that all WAYYY back. I can just pull up the app at 3am and am reassured that the alarms are sufficiently annoying that I'll wake if something happens.
The heart rate monitor is also surprisingly helpful as well- just the other day I had put the baby down for the night and when I checked the stats was surprised to see a higher than normal heart rate. This was the day of her vaccines, and I mentioned it to my husband and he said, let's check her temp and sure enough she had a high fever. We were able to closely monitor the fever due to the correlated heart rate monitor- which I never knew was a thing!
Love this product and I sing it's praises 3+ months in.

I love the Owlet Dream Sock! This is our first baby and I wanted to be as prepared as possible for our little one. I read all the books, but they made me increasingly nervous about baby sleep habits and the endless risks while they’re asleep. Between reading about SIDS and suffocation risks I thought I would never sleep because I’d be so worried about him. I did research and found the Owlet Dream Sock - what a wonderful find!!! I can sleep soundly (between feedings) knowing that the Owlet will alert me if anything is happening. I also have the ability to review his sleep data and track his patterns which has helped with finding a solid bedtime routine! I would absolutely recommend the Owlet to any new parents starting a family or any parents looking to get peace of mind.
