I got this when my little one started sleeping by herself in her crib at 2 months old. It helped my anxiety so much. There are a few things I wish you could customize within the app like sounds, pausing for diaper changes and middle of the night feeds so it doesn’t scare my husband awake when he has to get up early cause my little one is a wiggler.
It’s definitely worth the money if you have anxiety.

This sock has done wonders on helping me with postpartum anxiety!! It is a very accurate reading to share when my baby wakes at night. The only thing I would recommend to better assist is the alarm when the sock isn’t on correctly or anything like that. It normally takes about 20-30 seconds for it to tell me it needs to be fixed.

The Owlet has given us peace of mind since coming home from the NICU with a baby with respiratory issues. Our child has a hospital issued oximeter on one foot and the Owlet on the other at nights. We appreciate being able to track where she is in her sleep cycle and view her sleep history, which is something the oximeter doesn’t do. The numbers are also very close to the numbers we get on the oximeter, which make us even more confident with the Owlet. It’s much more convenient without long wires attached to it and the app makes it convenient to check on her stats. We have found comfort in using the Owlet and would highly recommend!

We love this sock for our baby. He’s 3 weeks old and it helps us sleep soundly at night knowing he is monitored. I had him on my chest at one point and he fell asleep. I didn’t notice his face was in my shirt, the app and the base gave me an alert that his O2 levels were low. As soon as I moved him, the levels improve. It’s been great to have.
One thing I wish I could fix is the loading time on the app. If I get out of it momentarily and get back into it, it reloads as if you completely closed the app. Also, when my baby is crying and the lullaby comes on to let me know the sock is having a hard time reading his levels, it takes the app forever to load and the song doesn’t stop. The charging base is not close enough to the bed for me to use that to turn off the sound.

The owlet itself is great and we love it! It gives us peace of mind while our little one sleeps and seems pretty accurate. I thought at first it might have been a waste of money but it’s definitely worth every penny, we use it every night! I only rate it three stars for two reasons. Number one being that I think the red alert noise is too quiet. I don’t consider myself a heavy sleeper typically but personally, god forbid it ever went off, I’d like it to be like a tornado siren if anything was wrong so there’d be no chance of missing it. Second, the sensor is annoying to clean, especially for how often they suggest to clean it. It’s not hard, it’s just a little obnoxious to me. If there was a way to take the sensor completely out of the sock and be able to submerge all of the fabric pieces while washing, that’d be better. First world problems, but if those things don’t bother you, then you’d be 100% satisfied with this monitor. Still would definitely recommend this regardless of my complaints!
