With a NICU Preemie Owlet brought Peace of Mind

Owlet brings us peace of mind after a 7 week NICU stay for our first daughter born at 32 weeks. After weeks of being in the hospital attached to monitors 24/7, Owlet is the only device we could find that would give us 24/7 heart rate and oxygen level monitoring at home. This was especially important to my husband and I because our daughter kept having her heart rate and oxygen drop in the hospital to the point of needing medicine to help her keep those numbers where they should be. The Owlet Dream sock will alert us if either her heart rate or oxygen level drops below a certain point. We will definitely be purchasing Owlet Dream Socks in the future for any other babies we have, preemie or not.

I just wish the app was quicker to show data. My baby boy started choking in the middle of the night and alarms worked as they should, but by the time I got into the app to see how low things dropped his numbers were back up (which is good, but I would have liked to see the numbers). When looking at the history it didn’t show me the numbers either- I wish that it would somehow save data from an alarm? Otherwise great product and helps me sleep at night

We love the Owlet! It relieves a lot of our bedtime anxiety. For the week I had a newborn without the sock, I wasted hours of when I could’ve been sleeping to make sure my babies chest was rising and falling. With the owlet, I can see his heart rate and oxygen %.
