I bought this when my daughter was about a month old. It has absolutely helped with my anxiety while she is sleeping. I love that I can track her sleep and log her naps in the same app. The movement feature (still, wiggling, active) is also super helpful when I have to leave the room to check if she has woken up. I will say however that the charging stand and app play super loudly when trying to notify you (low oxygen, sock placement issue) so I wouldn’t suggest having the base in the room with your sleeping little one.

This has given me such peace of mind with my little one. I’ve used it on my newborn since he was a couple weeks old and now I can rest easy at night when he’s asleep knowing he’s being monitored. It has gone off when he’s crying and wiggling and the connection gets spotty. So I know it’s working! The base volume isn’t crazy loud but loud enough to wake you up if your baby needs you and didn’t make a noise to wake you up.

Gives me peace of mind, but can be annoying when it doesn't read for some reason. It wakes me up generally once a night when she's moving, even if all is well just because the connection isn't great. I clean it as suggested. It's just the nature of the beast.

The sock is really easy to get on and doesn’t bother my baby at all. The base and the app both alert you if there’s trouble with reading so you have to readjust the sock, if your baby is crying and needs help going to sleep. It’s so easy to use and it helps ease my anxiety when it comes to my baby.

Purchased this initially as a "just in case" to keep track of my babies stats if he became sick (born in peak RSV season). I now use this product everyday to keep track of his sleep and naps. I know roughly how long he's been awake vs actually sleeping which is really helpful in determining if I should extend out his daytime naps. This product grew on me with use and has had very few errors, mostly due to placement/user error.

The Owlet Sock is my holy grail. I was having a hard time sleeping at night before getting it, you know, that night time anxiety with a new baby.. the sun goes down and it gets a little worrisome. I was waking up constantly to check on her, I was scared to leave her in her bassinet, scared to leave anyone else watching her, etc. One morning some congestion hit her and it immediately made me actually afraid for night time, and I was like “okay, I’m buying this TODAY”. We have used it every day since. I sleep peacefully at night knowing I will be alerted.
I was cleaning my other childrens play room one day after she fell asleep on her play mat, so I let her snooze there while I went and cleaned. I got an alert on my phone after walking back into the playroom from checking on her, that her oxygen was low, and immediately ran to grab her. Without the Owlet, who knows if I would have known in time. I check on her constantly when I’m doing other things, but sometimes 5 minutes or so goes by while you’re busy and 5 minutes can be crucial.
I have no cons about this sock and I will forever recommend it to moms. It has saved my sanity and provides me with security for her oxygen and heart rate stats.
She hates socks and shoes, but she doesn’t mind wearing the Owlet sock.
It is incredibly easy to clean. It’s incredibly easy to switch the sensor to a different sized sock. It is easy to place onto the foot.
I love that I can leave the house while she’s being cared for by someone else, and I can see her health readings on my phone while I’m away.
I cannot say enough good things about our sock. We love Owlet!!
