Great monitor

Owlet Dream Sock I struggled in the beginning trying to get my app to connect with the sock and base but once I was able to connect it worked great! I think it was more an internet issue than anything else. It’s very cool to see the breakdown of the data that it gathers about my child’s sleep. I like how it shares their oxygen levels, how long they are in each level of sleep, and the duration of their sleep. The sock comes with two different sizes for each foot as your baby grows. My child didn’t seem to mind wearing the sock while resting. I look forward to continuing to use this product and learning about all the other features and help that it offers. I would recommend this to any parent who would like to learn and understand more about their sleeping child and the safety features that it offers to help give a peace of mind.

Sock is amazing the camera sucks

The sock i the only reason i get any sleep. The camera on the other hand gets "no signal" in the middle of the night i have the most wifi so it's connected it just sucks. And the sound shuts off in middle of night. They need an actual monitor and not just an app. I tell everyone not to get the camera because for 14 months its been nothing but a headache

Accurate Monitoring

I used the old owlet sock with my 2 1/2 year old when he was a newborn and it worked great so I decided to use it again with my second baby. At a month old at 1:30am, we received an alarm stating my sons HR went into the 300's. We rushed him to the hospital and his Heart Rate was in fact in the 300's. The had to convert him out of it with medications but without the owlet we would have put him back to bed and not sure what would have happened if we never took him to the Emergency Room. THANK YOU OWLET for truly saving our sons life.

Dream sock review

I’ve been using the dream sock since our son was about 5 months old (when we moved him into his own room). We have been Owlet device users since our first son was born 5.5 years ago. Although I did like the sleep sock better—I appreciated being able to see my baby’s HR and oxygen measurements—the dream sock does make me feel more comfortable at night. I had some issues w/ connectivity initially, but when I called customer service I didn’t have long wait times and they assisted in solving my issue. One of the things I dislike about the dream sock app is that there is no time stamp on the night wakeups..I’d like to be able to review his sleep activity and see exactly what time he woke in order to see any patterns. I definitely preferred our sleep sock over the new dream sock, however, I would still recommend this device for parents.

Great...when it actually works

When I can actually get it to work, it is great. But that is rare. The power cord for the camera never stays plugged in. Even when I have it taped to the back is somehow still loses power. The app is rarely useful. The chat doesn't work, the trouble shooting takes you in circles. I have to force quit and restart the app EVERY single time I open it before the camera will actually connect. Least user friendly program I've ever used.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sock is fantastic the camera is ok...when it works

The sock is phenomenal, love the piece of mind I had knowing I could easily glance at my phone and see readings in real time. The part that annoys me to no end is the camera. Its good when it works but don't you dare switch to a different app while using the camera because once you try to return to the owlet app it has to reload the camera which sometimes hangs so you're forced to restart the owlet app then the video feed comes back. Get a text and you want to answer it? It'll kick off the video feed which means....you guessed it, restarting the app and hope it connects. If it doesn't connect you have to unplug the camera from the wall for a minute then plug it back in. The problem is that there's a baby sleeping which means you need to risk waking the baby up if you want to keep monitoring your baby OR leave it without the camera which to me defeats the whole purpose of having it in the first place. My suggestion, get the sock, skip the camera. You'd think with how much it costs they would provide a stable app

Bought for my new born work great for few weeks then had issues... wouldn't connect to wifi... I had service other device were connected to the wifi... was signed out of app don't know how... its just a headache
