Great range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a months ago and it’s fantastic. Fast heating, convection conversion works really well, proof mode is awesome, looks great, easy to clean, nice and big oven size, and quiet. My only problem with it is the touch screen. It’s in an bad place so I keep accidentally pressing buttons on it all the time. But it’s not a big deal, I put on the touch lock and it’s good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No control over burner temperature

I purchased this range in October and have had nothing but trouble with the burners. As noted in other reviews there is little temperature control, especially at the low end. On the left, large, front burner, it is impossible to simmer anything without it boiling over. We were advised by a Whirlpool technician to leave the lid off the pot and it won't boil over. Excuse me but some food, like soups, stews, stocks, etc. must simmer with a lid on! We have burned eggs, onions and other foods because one never knows what temperature anything is actually cooking at on the other front burner. Whirlpool (manuf. of Kitchenaid) claims this range is operating properly. On that note we would advise others to steer clear. In the process of taking Whirlpool to Small Claims Court.

Very disappointed

We have had this stove for a little over a year and we are very disappointed. We find that the stove temperatures are difficult to control. The oven has given us lots of issues. It started with error codes only a few months after we bought it and lately it goes on super high broil when on normal bake or roast and everything burns to a crisp. Pretty dangerous if you ask me because everything would burn if you don't notice in time. The control knobs are cheaply made and whatever is covering it is peeling off already. Don't buy.

Very Pleased

I have been cooking, baking, cleaning non stop for the past 3 months. I wanted a gas range but laws restricted me and this range was recommended as a close second. It really is like cooking on gas. I couldn't be more pleased with our purchase. I absolutely adore the water basket as this feature eliminates the need for a Bain Marie and consistently puts out the best cheesecake.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had this range for just over a year. I love the way it looks and the non-marking stainless finish. Unfortunately that's about it. The oven takes forever to heat up. The burners are not responsive to temperature changes... I've burned things and also thought things were cooking when they were not. Though this is my first electric range and so maybe this is a challenge with all of them. The bell/beep on the timer is too quiet. More disturbing: the enamel coating inside the oven has chipped in three places where the racks slide in. And the heat markers on the knobs on the front are STICKERS that have gotten wrinkled on two knobs (so far--it's the ones we use the most) and I'm sure will eventually peel off or crack etc. This is a fairly expensive oven that, after a short time, feels cheap. I would not recommend!

Cook top sucks no even temperature

Be prepared to burn almost everything you cook
The cook top has no even cooking settings even on low settings it still burns your food.
I think kitchenaid makes some great ranges but this one is not one of them. Do your research before you buy I wish I had done that as this range is was a mistake of a major purchase
