Only don't buy it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it 1 year ago and and from the beginning cleaning of its cooktop glass was so difficult. I tried different ways that I learnt through the Internet, but non of them worked and and after one month many scratches and stains appeared that it is not possible to clean.
Another important issue that I faced recently is the main heater element that is supposed to cycle on and off to avoid causing very high temperature is not working and it works continuously and I should be careful otherwise my food burns.
I hope Kitchenaid service department at least provides me more information about its warranty and how to fix likely infinite switch problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So unhappy buy this 5element ! the auto clean of the oven does not clean anything. I have it since 1 year and it is the worst buy I did in the last decade. The glass of the 5 elements is stained after few drops of pastas water, very difficult to clean... A very very bad investment. I love to cook but with this, it is now impossible to be happy by what we do.

Extremely disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a older slide in convection electric stove with what we thought was the same type. It is awful. The aqua clean system is useless. The oven was as dirty when it finished as it was when I started the cleaning process. I don't want to have to get on my hands and knees to scrub the oven clean. The old stove cooktop was easy to keep clean and always looked nice but this one is more difficult to keep clean, scratches more easily and never looks nice. The true fit is useless also. The new stove did not fit the opening we took the old one out of although they said it was the same size. We had to find and purchase the side trim accessory kit to make it fit. Just a disaster stove. Although we have always bought Kitchenaid appliances, we would not recommend this stove and would definitely not buy another Kitchenaid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not a self-cleaning oven. The Aqualift self cleaning technology is totally useless. After running the program four times and using the kit provided in between cycles, my oven was still not clean. Please note that my oven was not even that dirty initially. To promote this oven as a self cleaning oven is misleading. Do not spend the money on this,it is not worth it.

After a short while a fault code F8E0 came on and the stove stopped working. After 45 days we are still waiting to be fixed. The insurance company EnsureAll part of the VCG group are trying to find the module and we have NO STOVE!!!

Electric Range -- 700ESS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this range 10 months ago and am extremely unhappy with the product. I live alone and have probably used this range for a total of less than 3 months of use in an average family of four.
The control knobs in the front are easily turned on accidentally by pushing up against them. It's happened on several occasions that an element has been turned on without my knowledge and in once case -- the back element was on high for over four hours before I came back to the kitchen and noticed it was on. Had I gone to bed or left the home, I shudder to think that the wall/surrounding surfaces could have caught fire due to the extreme heat.
Also, the digital pad control for the oven on the front is a pain as it is constantly beeping at the slightest touch and I have to activitate the 'control lock' feature all the time. It is also a nuisance to keep clean and the glass surface is very difficult to clean and has scratched easily, compared to my previous range that was 15 yrs old.
I also miss not having access to an AC outlet on the back of the stove panel. So while the design looks nice, I do not find it very useful and actually find it to be unsafe and do not recommend this for families with children, the elderly, the disabled, shorter individuals, tall individuals -- pretty much anyone.
I have purchased other Kitchen Aid appliances (have a great refrigerator) that I enjoy but am extremely unsatisfied with this range.
I have also already had to call in a service technician to repair a cooling fan issue. Again, this stove has hardly been used in 10 months. I paid for extended warranty but overall, I am not impressed. I want my money back!

So disappointed buying this range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range 4 months ago from Tasco and was misled by sales associate about oven AquaLift cleaning system. there was cleaning kit and instruction came with the range. The system is completely useless, it does not even remove slightest spills from the oven interior. I have to clean the oven manually kneeling on the floor and scrape off spills and in addition sponge off the water from bottom of the oven. KitchenAid is aware of the problem but they have not done anything to correct the problem. When using broil, or convection or baking features, hot air coming out of the oven, exterior of oven, the baking ware in the storage drawer and adjacent cabinets become extremely hot to touch. I was told by KitchenAid customer service that I should wear mittens while working around oven to avoid burns. The glass top is also difficult to clean and already has several tiny scratches. I am very disappointed to spend more than $2,300.00 and have a such poor quality range that has caused me so much stress. KitchenAid does not take any responsibility and indicates that all are the range specifications.

Not what we expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this appliance now for just over a year and would say that we are disappointed overall. The stove top burners run very hot and even at minimum setting it is easy to burn food if you do not watch it at all times. Also, the oven cooks uneven from side to side and seems to take an unreasonable amount of time to get to the desired temp that is set. Thirdly, the stainless steel surface is very easy to scratch.
