Disappointing purchase

This is a poorly designed product. The storage drawer is too shallow to store anything other than a shallow grill pan. The oven is huge and takes at least 20 minutes to preheat. The self-clean feature is a wet mess - not a true self cleaning oven at all. Only the two pot elements that have an even-heat feature are useful. The other two elements overheat and are basically useless. The worst feature is the location of the control panel on the top surface of the range. Be careful not to place anything hot near it or you will melt the part - we have waited a month for a repair without any reasonable explanation from the technician. I wish I could afford to replace this appliance. We are very unhappy with it.

Very disapointing

We purchased the appliance six months ago. We had a technician coming alter a month because the oven fan was not working properly. Now, six months later, the electronic oven control is not working anymore. Impossible to start the bake modes…We have made a call for services and have been waiting for more than a month now !!!!

Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my new stove for two months. The aqua lift self clean is very disappointing. Have had to run the cycle several times to loosen dirt in oven .still had to do significant scrubbing. Also the burners don’t go low enough temperature wise to simmer food. Even on simmer food is boiling away.

Glass top is a pain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all don't buy anything from Kitchenaid. Our fridge was ordered in March for a July delivery for our new home (with no appliances) and still hasn't arrived in January.
The oven is beautiful but also arrived months after it was scheduled to. The glass top is terrible and scratches way too easily. Even the tiniest bit of spill or food burns on and scratches the surface when removed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cooks nice but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this in Dec 2021, nice looking and oven cooks nicely, but the touch screen is super sensitive to moisture, ie. a damp cloth when wiping it. The timer beep only goes off once! when time is up. It needs to beep more than that. If you are not paying attention you will miss it. If you use the oven cook timer, when the time is up the oven turns off! not good. If you use convection, it asks you if you want to convert the recipe, if you say yes you have to use the oven timer, annoying. The front right burner is super hot, good for boiling quick but be cautious not to burn things. Overall its OK but for the money, a bit disappointing. Some things like the drawer seems cheap and not robust.
