Easy use range nice layout

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I am enjoying my new range. The only problem is the stove top is already stained. I try to be careful and use lids and splatter screens, but it's not always possible or feasible. I wipe them up as quick as possible, but even with the special scrubber provided, the stains remain. It already looks a year old on the top.

Large Knobs and easy to find control panel

And we are the 3rd person in the family to buy this range

The warmer is much to sensitive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 2 cats. All one of our cats has to do is walk across the top of the stove and the warmer comes on. We are afraid the cats are going to turn on the warmer and burn themselves. Every night before we go to bed we have to cover the on switch to make sure it does not get turned on by a wandering cat. This is not a good feature
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I owned a Kitchenaid Architect edition for the past 15 years. I replaced it with this one. I miss my old oven. This one seems more flimsy. The door is not heavy. Medium burns as high on the elements and the oven is very - VERY long to heat up. Longer than my 1( year old oven! Hope this helps someone!

Looks good, cooks well. Hard to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've used this since July. It was our first glass top, so that took some getting used to. Despite following all the directions/safeguards, the glass already has small spots on it that seem permanent. That was disappointing. The oven Aqua Lift feature also doesn't do nearly as good a job as my last oven's "clean" cycle. However, the cleaning function is nice in that it doesn't smell, and is fast. The owner's manual isn't very helpful with cooking tips. Our old Kitchen Aid came with a whole cook book with how to use each feature. That would have been nice here. For instance, when best to use steam cooking, and how to use convection to do a turkey. The stove top heats up very fast, and stays hot long after being turned off. Oven preheats to 350 about as fast as my last oven, but heat seems even and consistent. The oven racks are very solid; just wish I could leave the in the oven during cleaning.

Kitchen aid self cleaning range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a couple months ago. Buttons on console stick. Burners are hard to gauge. The clock is on top of the stove, so can not use for time reference.
