Easy care and great style!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this new range for a month now and am really enjoying using it. The large oven window makes it so easy to see how the roasting or baking is going. It’s so easy to clean the glass top compared to the last range we owned.

AquaLift Self Clean is a big disappointment

Received this about a month ago. First time needing to clean it, going through the AquaLift, which I failed to research beforehand. Basically you pour 2 cups of water in the bottom of the oven, and then the oven gets warm enough to steam (doesn't boil the water, so not really getting any real steam going). Does nothing to remove dirt. "Self clean" means you, yourSELF are getting on your hands an knees to CLEAN this oven. If this is an important feature, look elsewhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Experimenting with the convection oven and so far I am loving how my meals are delicious.

Convection was a bit of a learning curve....still adjusting. Absolutely love the knobs on the front. I’m short and don’t have to reach across hot burners. Love the steam option too. I find myself wanting to try new cooking methods and recipes. Thanks!!! Saving up for a microwave now.

Warning - timer tone beeps once and very low

I received my range a week ago. It came dented and scratched. Upon further testing, I noticed that the end of cycle timer tone only beeped once. I also tried adjusting the volume setting hoping that at least the one tone could be a very loud tone but the difference between high and low volume is so negligible that this didn't make a difference. I checked the manual and it says that the end of cycle tone is supposed to sound 4 times. Because of this, I thought my product was defective. It was impossible to get ahold of someone from Kitchenaid over the phone to discuss this issue, so I used the website chat feature, and a Kitchenaid representative confirmed that the end of cycle tone should sound 4 times and not just once. Thus, because of the compounded issues between the dents/scratches and timer tone, I asked for a new range from my retailer and they provided me with one, which was helpful. However, the new range is exactly the same in terms of its tones - it only beeps once at the end of a timer cycle and increasing the volume has little impact. I think this is a major design flaw, and I am worried that I am going to burn all of my baking. I am only give this one star so that hopefully someone from Kitchenaid sees my review and addresses the issue. Otherwise, I don't know how I will contact Kitchenaid to improve this situation. Bakers be warned!! One other minor complaint is that when you wipe the touch screen console, it activates oven settings - it would be good to have a feature to lock this when cleaning.

Horrible oven top to clean!!

I bought this a few years ago and have been unhappy with it since the day I bought it. So hard to clean the glass top!! Cleaned it with cook top cleaner as recommended and still won’t clean properly. Water marks, ring after cooking. The worst stove top I’ve ever had! Will never buy again, if I could afford it I’d by something else.
When the oven has been used and we turn it off the fan runs for hours before it stops, or I guess it cools off.
The oven cleaner with water is awful as well.
wouldn’t recommend this range to anyone!
