This is the best carpet shampoo design I have ever purchased. I love the easy access to both the dispenser and receiving tanks with the design on top. It is very easy to use on the staircase, as well.

Read the reviews on multiple sites prior to purchase and figured I'd give this machine a try despite the numerous complaints of the water canister being too small. I really wanted to love this product completely but I'll be returning it. I probably would be okay with dealing with the small containers but while it did a great job cleaning my carpets I had to refill and empty the water canisters 6 times for just my bedroom (which is not overly large but not a closet either) and with each fill you add more cleaning solution. It took almost the entire 60oz bottle and at almost $20/bottle it would be very expensive to do the remaining 3 rooms of carpet. Thankfully the majority of my house is hardwood. It also left behind a HUGE amount of cleaning solution and the suction of the dirty water left A LOT to be desired. I did the 2 wet passes on each section then 6-8 dry passes. I ended up doing a dry pass over the entire room with my sister-in-law's Bissell carpet cleaner and the water this machine left behind filled her entire tank! Unfortunately though, with the soap left behind, the carpet, while quite clean, is now super crunchy. If my sister-in-law's machine would spray I would utilize the rinse function hers has and go over it again, unfortunately that's not an option and I had already spent 3 1/2 hours achieving what I already did. When not in use (there was still was water left while I did the dry run with the other machine) this machine left a huge puddle on my hardwood. I don't know if it's because this is a lift off model so it doesn't seal as tight or what but carrying around the house left puddles along the floor and up the stairs. Long story short, if the small size of the canisters was the ONLY downside I would keep this cleaner for the great job it did but sadly this machine will be going back to the store and I'll try a different model. The cons just significantly outweigh the pros in this case.
