[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cleaner is amazing. I replaced my previous Bissell;that after 3 yrs will not spray the cleaner from machine only the hand held. The Pro Heat 2X product was feature on the Local news in Detroit as 1 of 3 carpet cleaners for Pets as the best. THEY WERE SO RIGHT!!! I finally used it today[7/07/18] and it cleaned better that the professionals I had do my carpet last year. Its not as wet and carpet smells so good! It has tremendous water vac up.- Easy to fill and cleanup great. The only downside is it is big and I have to store in basement- but since the tanks come off- a bit easier to carry down stairs. I would recommend this product to anyone who has pet accidents- foot traffic- kids or any use. The really tough spots came up instantly. HAPPY!!!

Stopped spraying again and again!

Machine just stops spraying repeatedly. I have cleaned it constantly and it continues to happen. Now I have taken it apart as much as I can figure out and no luck. For the money I spent on this I can't afford to buy another. Very dissappointed!

I'd consider spending a little more for much better suction

I am crazy about clean floors, and I know a lot about cleaning them. I never considered it especially important to check the extraction versus solution applied.. I looked at the cleanliness of the carpet. The machine does ok on the application, and while the carpet is still damp it looks OK. But if you apply solvent, it doesn't all come out, even after as many as ten attempts. The only way I could do it, was to pour water on the carpet and then extrct it with a shop vac. If you leave solvent in the carpet it becomes a shoe sole cleaner, and gets dirty very quickly. I'm sorry to say this machine simply doesn't have a strong enough extraction vacuum. Even though the supply bladder and holding tank inversion is clever, the holding tank seldom gets full to the extent of the empty bladder. The supply pump is adequate but very sensitive to stale solvent left in the line, and will clog and become unusable if it is put away with some solvent in it. Otherwise the maintenance of this machine is intuitive and easily learned. It just isn't a powerful enough vacuum. If they make an aftermarket vacuum pump I'd put it in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for the feedback, yard mom - while you should be able to suction a great deal of water out of your carpets, some will still need to dry out. Our formulas, unless over uses, should not make your carpet feel sticky or hard. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had seen the reviews on this product. I went ahead and ordered it. Was happy with the results on this. Had some stains on the carpet from about a month ago. Took it up like it was never there. I vacuumed the carpet before I used this machine and it picked up dog hair that my vacuum did not pick up. It's done it's job very well. Plus I love that you can use this as a spot cleaner when you detach it from the main body.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The good and the bad.

I also have a competitor's shampooer and it has a much larger water tank and retrieval tank, so there is less time spent filling it with water and emptying the dirty water. It's also easier to clean - no screws to unscrew. The carpet seems to dry faster with the competitor's. But the Bissell's stair attachment is much better and easier to use.
