Great Product, Minus the liftoff

The hose breaking makes the unit a standup unit only. If you take the "lift off" portion out this is a great machine. However, half of its claim is the ability to clean furniture which you can not do if the hose breaks. All three units we have owned the hose breaks just below the handle attachment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Did you know you can keep formula from hardening in your portable carpet cleaner's hose? Before putting it away suction hot tap water through the hose to clean it out, then empty the Dirty Water Tank. You can also clean out the hose by getting our HydroRinse Self-Cleaning Hose Tool, it helps clean the hose by rinsing out unwanted dirt, pet hair and lingering odor. No matter how you clean the lines, it's also a good idea to rinse all tanks and tools and let them air dry after each use. It didn't take long for the carpet cleaner to arrive. I was very pleased with the way it was packed in the box. There was no messy, bulky Styrofoam for me to put in the garbage. The machine was packed with recyclable box board. The machine works great. It lifted up ground in dirt that I've never been able to remove before. The noise is not objectionable. I really like how the machine can also be used for stairs and furniture. It's like I got two machines for the price of one! The only shortcoming is that the soapy water tank is too small and when using the shampooer I can't see how much solution is left in the tank. Overall, I'm really happy with it.

Wife wants new carpet, I said no, she says we are going to clean it, looked up reviews, bought this machine. 20 year old carpets, water was black, I was amazed at how the carpet came out, all dirty and spots gone.Machine cleans very easy, very glad I bought this cleaner, cheaper than new carpet. Wife was amazed
