[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the product a couple of weeks ago and used it for the first time today. It operated as expected. The carpet looks significantly cleaner and the smell from the cleaning agent was pleasant. Several reviewers didn't like the smallish capacity for water. I didn't have a problem with it. The only issue that I found or an improvement that I would like, would be to add some sort of warning when the water reservoir with the cleaning fluid is empty. I found myself attempting to shampoo the floor with an empty reservoir. Perhaps there was some sort of warning but it wasn't apparent.

Our carpet is 10 years old, and has been professionally cleaned twice a year, but with the Bissell ProHeat 2X Lift-Off, the are once again like new! We went over a trouble area twice, and finally got rid of an old stain. Please buy this cleaner, and never hire a professional again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I shampooed some of my carpet today. I was extremely pleased with how the Bissell cleaned on both plush and a low pile carpet. I loved the lift off feature for steps and under edges to narrow for the machine. I would highly recommend this product. My one small issue was the cord would not stay in the hook on the handle. I ended up holding it.

This is a powerful and amazing cleaning machine. I had borrowed my daughter's and now I want one. I've used a lot of carpet and upholstery cleaning machine and hands down, up and out; the best one yet.
