[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only used once so far. Works as expected. Since the power cord is attached to the removable unit, I would like to see a clip on the upright handle so that the power cord can be kept out of the way when using this in the upright configuration.

I live in a retirement community, where carpet cleaning is done by the facility. After their cleaning, with an impressive sized "extractor", I couldn't tell they'd been here! The pile had not been disturbed at all. I ordered this Bissel and couldn't believe the grime that came out of the carpet considering I had bought the apartment brand new a year ago. I love this machine and wish more cleaning solution had come with it because now I have to wait for more to get here!

This makes our 3rd Bissell carpet cleaner. The major issue I have is their is no empty tank light or indicator to let you know your out of water and cleaner. Previous models we had, utilized this simple technology and it was great. This unit lacks that ability and you cant see when you run out. So I'm finding that I run out dont know it and then I have to take longer to figure out where it ran out and then do more work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Using this machine took EVERY stain out of my carpet. It was like a miracle, I am serious. Old urine spots from my chihuahua, coffee drips and cat hairball spots. The unit detaches for new accidents so you don't have to clean the big machine. Best purchase I've made in a long time.
