It's great for a beginner sewer or a pro. If you are looking for a new sewing machine I highly recommend you check this one out! It would be a great addition to your sewing room.

Perfect For Beginners

I've made some pillow cases so far with it, and as I get more comfortable with the machine, I am eager to create even more awesome goodies.

good beginner sewing machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the Singer M2100 Mechanical Sewing Machine for a few weeks now and am thinking of new projects to do with it every day. I am just beginning to learn to sew and wanted something I could use to do small, basic things like hem pants and fix small rips in my kids clothing. This machine seems to fit the bill as it's not so complicated that it overwhelms me and the instructions were well labeled. It has a nice compact size that I can leave out on my dining room table as I'm in between projects. I have gotten jammed a few times while I've been using it but I think that has to do with my lack of skill more than the machine. I would suggest other new comers to sewing also try a model like this from Singer.

Easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a beginner sewer and this Singer M2100 is super easy to use. I have began taking quilting classes and I am moving along quite well using this sewing machine. It has enough power to run through my quilting with on problems, it is easy to thread, love the LED lighting and it is easy enough to carry around to my quilting class and from room to room in my house! It is quite durable and well made. I like the different stitchings I can choose from! This is a great product in my opinion.
